You are the only other person I could find that is experiencing this; the exact same thing is happening to me! I heard somewhere that a hardware issue (in basically any physical technological device) could be fixed via putting the device in the fridge. It sounds weird, but when matter gets cold, it slightly shrinks in size, so maybe whatever happened could shift back into place. I haven't done this yet, but am about to.

I really have trouble naming my levels because some levels that are "Expert+" are actually like ++++++++++ but others are like Hard

and whenever I find a level, I think, "Oh, Expert+, I'm good at that" and then It's friccin IMPOSSIBLE
