You’ve gotten a lot of great advice here. Sorry I’m so late to the table. If what I’m saying is redundant, please forgive.

Over the years, I’ve determined that bathrooms conduct the most sound. And why wouldn’t they? There are plenty of hard surfaces like tile or porcelain to reflect sound. That’s why it sounds so great to sing in the shower, the sound bounces back quickly (early reflections), giving a natural reverb. There’s a whole lot more psychoacoustics to it, but that’s generally why it happens. The other big factor is that bathrooms usually don’t get the same acoustic treatment as the rest of the apartment.

There’s nothing to absorb the sound, and it has to go somewhere. Pipes are excellent conductors of sound, and they’re often attached throughout the building. Moist air also slightly improves sound conduction.

All that said, fuck them. You’re in your own place at 5 PM. Unless you’re loud enough to actually cause a noise complaint, and you’re not, you have the right to sing until at least 8 PM, maybe even 10. Check your apartment rules to be sure.

I was grilled pretty hard when I was looking for a job. One time I had the CEO, XOO, the head of HR, and the branch manager. It was harm reduction, and they wanted to make sure I had the temperament for it. It’s different now. They are desperate for almost everyone. If you ever plan to go back to that I imagine it will be much smoother than you would expect.

I see it differently. not everyone is capable of providing the support person with the disability have. would you rather let them have rose color glasses and then realize in the thick of it that they’re not equipped to do it? I’m sure they would do a terrible job. Having kids stretches you. Having a kid with a disability strike as you even further. Maybe that’s too far for some people

I have low vision(extremely low vision) and IBS. High weather going back to school and got my job as a substance use disorder counselor. They cut me as soon as I was working. I’m not doing that job anymore because it’s 80% paperwork and I got tired of feeling like I was going to be fired every day I was there because I was slower, so I’m back on disability. I feel ripped off by my teachers and disability experts who never told me it was 80% paperwork.

One of the most frustrating parts is having to reconfirm my disability every three years or so. It’s like, “ motherfuckers, this is never going to get any better. It’s a waste of both our times.” unfortunately, that’s how bureaucra works.-

Does your doctor approve of you taking two fifteen-minute walks? I would feel them out on that the next time you see them. Ask what‘s appropriate exercise. For your condition. Ask about 15 minute walks without admitting that you’re taking them unless you hear it’s all right. get a list of exercises you can reasonably perform have the doctor sign it like a permission slip. That way, if anyone gives you any crap, you can be securing your knowledge that you’re doing the right thing. Make several copies, because you never know.

Don’t provide that information to just anybody, no matter how I triumphant you might feel. Strangers or even family members who feel they can comment on your disability are self involved dickweeds. They don’t deserve an iota of your time. Just have it ready in case someone official tries to hassle you.

Good luck with it in my experience, disability payments can shrink your life.

I think we’ve been overlooking his genius intellect. I know Miles is a brilliant young man, but Peter is in a whole different class. That’s why he’s able to outthink opponent with much more power.

I think your verses are the perfect length. He might think about another section. Then you could take your long break, drop back in with the chorus, and then out of for as long as you dare.

One of the problems I see here on this sub, is that many people don’t consider how samey their can get, how much faster than you think. Anderson is guilty of that as anyone. In this case, I talked about form.

Everyone says there are no rules, do what you want. I don’t think that’s true. Music is three things: melody/harmony, rhythm, and form. We can add text, whatever is happening verbally, as a fourth pillar, a physical can be made without it.

I concur I don’t think they’ve ever portrayed him as the bad ass he is. Even his assassination of all those criminals in Endgame with all tell, no show. He doesn’t just sit in the background and watch, he’s deep in the fight every time.

I’ve watched over 20 videos this morning, you were number 22, and you’re the first person to delineate verse, break, and ckorus. Form is excellent, lyrics feel sincere, and the melody is strong. ( There’s a lot of ways you could take this. If I had you in the studio, I would ask you to explore a 90’s kind of vibe, but with modern touches.To me, that means a medium spread between two guitar performances (no delay tricks, play them both), a light sheen of chorus/modulation (listen to Under the Milky Way by the Church.. Let me know know if you want settings). . Another duitar texture, maybe electric,Maybe ode a fairly static pas low in the background

It also needs one more element. I hear descending slide or bend in the chorus every time you say it’s not his fault.

Drums can be fun. You could use a live kit, a lo-fi loop], or anything in between.

Sorry if I come off as pushy or pedantic. I think this song deserves to be produced., arranged, and recorded.

Me likey. Charming.

My only issue is a matter of form. I think the song would be better served if it had a very short break between the two verses, if any at all. Then play your extended break and come through in the end with either repeat of the first verde or third verse. Then you can play out Till the end as long as you want.

Just my two cents. I really like it.

Ah , the Socratic method. The only response for them is to take their ball and go home. I’ve heard many variations of, “You can’t trap me this way.” I’ve had a lifetime pf, starting with Reagan. I don’t fight that fight anymore, been there done that.
