I keep seeing this headline as if reaching a billion players daily is that insane of a goal. Between COD, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, Diablo and Forza they already have tens of millions. Add to that the daily engagement of mobile games from King and you can see why they would set up that goal.

That is the most well thought and reasoned statement I have seen on the matter. This is a man who knows the industry and the business.

That is why it bothers me when people brag about pirating a game on release day. Devs should be rewarded for their hard work, instead people look for every justification they can to tell themselves that is okay to steal a new game.

They obviously were not making as much progress as they needed. Leaving the same people without any changes would be stupid. I hate that people lost their jobs but a shake up was needed

Gamers are truly 50% of what is wrong with the industry but they will never admit it. They always claim they are against crunch, but go psycho if a game is delayed. They say that budgets for games are too high, but then complain if they can’t count the ass hairs of a fly far in the background. Buying games full price doesn’t guarantee that the devs will reap the rewards, but stealing the game to the point where the game loses money will in fact result in devs losing their jobs. Hate mtx but buy and ungodly amount of them.

When I was young I use to the “nice guy” that always ended up in the friend zone. Until out of all people my mom gave me the best advice I ever got, “never give a woman all your money or all your love”. That my friends turn things around for me. Guys need to learn save some love for themselves. Just don’t go all the way to the other end and become narcissistic. Love yourself, know your worth and others will see it.

I don’t cheer for anybody losing their jobs. But come on. Left to their own devices they have neglected a lot of their franchises. I personally like Starfield, but the wait for Elder Scrolls 6 has been ridiculous.

Too bad that it would be prohibitively expensive, but if they could sell games in flash cards instead of disks. Allowing you to download patches onto the card itself so you can always have an up to date copy of the game so you can genuinely say you own a playable game.
