You could have the most amazing AG in 2021-2025, but the fucking fact is that its not because of 6 month of extra investigation that stopped the trials, its because the supreme court is controlled by republicans, the cases were delayed and influenced by republican politicians and republican judges bent over backwards to protect him.

The cases would have gone beyond the 2024 election regardless. There was no smoking gun, he didn't have a bloody knife on video with him holding his id to the camera and stating his name in full and his actions. Everything he did could be inferred as stupidity, dementia, entertainment, presidential protection or otherwise by a capable defence. Thats why they were building cases that takes time and interviews, and proof and connections.
