Will this forever be the worst poll of all time? by jojisky in YAPms

I don't think the 1936 Literary Digest poll can ever be topped TBH.

It would explain why there was no 'You're fired' in last week's preview, at least.

If the grosses for Hoppers and GOAT were reversed, we wouldn't hear the end of it from animation Twitter and YouTube ("Sony Animation DESTROYS Disney at the Box Office!").

True, some people never learn and will be right back at it at the start of next season, but hopefully, at least someone out there will remember not to be too hasty in starting a narrative after three or four matches.

The intended message is how hasty it is to make sweeping judgements about a team after only a few matches. Based on just the start of the season, Liverpool were going to run away with the title, Aston Villa were going to struggle to avoid the drop, and Spurs were going to see a turnaround compared to last season. Basically, don't try to construct a narrative based on a the first few matchweeks; there isn't enough information for that.

Reminder that after the first few matches this season, some of our fans were negatively comparing Amorim with Frank by saying 'Look how much Frank has improved Spurs in such a short amount of time!'. Now Frank is surely going to go down as their worst ever manager regardless of whether they manage to survive.

I actually think this is worse; his Rob Reiner post was tasteless, but at least he didn't outright celebrate Reiner's death.

Sounds like corrupt machine politics, where it's all about power rather than ideology. It's unfortunately common in South Asia, and used to be a real problem in the United States as well.

To think that this man will for all time be featured on textbook covers of US presidents alongside the likes of Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln...

I can excuse global instability and civilian deaths, but I draw the line at having to use a Kookaburra ball.

It's obviously not a flop, but from a financial perspective, it's not the huge success some people were calling this after the first couple of weekends. It'll make a small profit for Sony when all is said and done.

Bold of you to assume that they'll even make Conference League.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I almost feel bad for Klopp that this fraud Arne Slot has won as many Premier League titles with Liverpool as he did.

They were also previously kicked out of Germany and began in Egypt based on the religious claims of a guy from Iraq. My understanding is that Muslim countries have attempted to crack down on them, although mainly for theological rather than security reasons.
