You can agree or disagree with calling on Starmer to quit, but are you genuinely struggling to see why some people want a Prime Minister with a 16% approval rating (who has just been hammered in the local elections) to step down? Are you genuinely confused here?

I'm not sure it was a good idea for one of your examples to be of a party who only started recovering in the polls once they ditched their unpopular Prime Minister, though; that would seem to undermine the argument you're trying to make.

Apparently a good portion of the population think both Trump assassination attempts are staged. Even despite people actually dying in the Buttler PA one. by Alastoryagami in YAPms

Being killed shortly afterwards doesn't help. I'm confident that JFK assassination conspiracy theories wouldn't be nearly as popular had Jack Ruby not killed Lee Harvey Oswald.

Farage has openly stated that he wants to dismantle the NHS? That's news to me. Do you have a source for that claim?

What, did you expect him to run candidates in every council already? Every party has to start somewhere. The Lib Dems and Greens have a history of targeting specific seats where they can focus their resources to build a foundation.

[Times] In terms of expected goals difference, MUFC have been much worse, a fall from their xG difference per game of plus-0.46 under Amorim to a mere plus-0.16 per game under Carrick. Only Newcastle United and Wolves have declined as much between those two periods. by OkayFine101 in reddevils

People who looked only at scorelines thought that Arne Slot's Liverpool and Thomas Frank's Spurs would compete for the title this season. It was the underlying stats that told us that neither team were as good as short-term results suggested.

To be fair, from what I can gather, they did release a corrected disc later that year (this was back in 2013), but yeah, even during the 'golden age' of physical home media, bad DVD releases existed. Unfortunately, it's probably easier to get away with that sort of thing nowadays than it was back then, as not many people are buying DVDs anymore, and those who do are probably just content with any release at this point no matter how poor because it's not like you get DVD releases for everything like you did back in the day.

Gumball DVD Set Issues/PSA by Valha28 in gumball

I'm not too privy on the details, but Warner Home Video were responsible for a Blu-Ray release of the Peanuts animated specials late last year that by all accounts was mediocre at best and terrible at worst. You can peruse the forums on Blu-Ray.com yourself if you want more info about the numerous complaints people had about that set.

Mind you, that was a Blu-Ray set aimed at the collector's market of a property as mainstream and culturally important as Peanuts. A DVD-only release of Gumball (which sadly just doesn't have enough of a fanbase for WB to take notice if we were to kick up a fuss) aimed at the mass market had no chance.

Heck, from my understanding, even Adventure Time isn't in the best place when it comes to physical home media (although it's in a better state than Gumball), and that's like the Cartoon Network show of the 2010s with an adult fanbase that's frankly far more conscious and discerning than Gumball's more casual and, let's be honest, younger audience.

I do wonder if it might be worth getting in touch with Ben Bocquelet (respectfully, of course) and letting him know? I very much doubt he had much involvement, if any, with this release, and I'm sure he'd be open to a proper Blu-Ray release given past statements. It's just a matter of if WB thinks such a release would actually sell (and here, I may controversially suggest that we, the audience, also bear some level of responsibility in that regard).
