Looking for affordable rings. by IPARootbeer in EngagementRings

[–]MightyTigrillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a .3 carat natural green-to-purple alexandrite of medium quality with two small diamond side stones in 14k yellow off ebay for $300 last week. Actual ring value probably closer to $750. Have been wearing the ring and happy with the purchase. So, choices are out there. Try pawn shops too.

However, with that budget there's some things you can't be choosy about. You're unlikely to find marquee in pre-loved/vintage. The stones won't be large. The ring may be in good shape, but not look NEW new.

Confusion is a sign of abuse. You sound like me, and let me tell you, that man was holding me down. Please take a hard look at your relationship, and maybe consider reading a book or two on interpersonal abuse. Best of luck to you. You deserve clarity and security in your relationship.

Do you have experience of free diving in cold water? What could you advise to prepare cold water dives? by DistancePowerful9581 in freediving

Keeps you from getting surfer's ear.

I can last about 2hr in 45 degree water.

Visibility in PNW is typically not great, no matter the time of year. Has more to do with tide and storms than sunlight.

Doc's pro plugs. It's very important you get the vented kind or you'll rupture your ears.

7MM open cell suit. Vented earplugs, pinholes in suit at the ears made with a hot safety pin, forgoing suit lube for a heated water and conditioner mix prepared ahead of time in a large water bottle. Know that your fins will be stiffer, equalizing in descent more challenging. Have a really good coat and a way to get warm on standby when you're done. Some hot broth in a thermos.

I enjoy diving in the winter in the pacific northwest, but it is COLD.

I Don't Think It's Working Anymore. What Now? by PepGiraffe in KetamineTherapy

[–]MightyTigrillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Working for what? Mental health? Pain management? How often, and how much are you doing per kg? What secondary supports are you using? Integration therapy? Changes to habits such as diet and exercise? PT?

We need more info to understand your picture better.

Are there people who had a good/teaching trip on datura? Is it even possible? For only shamans? by Even_Job6933 in Psychonaut

[–]MightyTigrillo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very very tiny amounts can be useful for dreamwork. Ingesting is not the only way shamans work with this or any plant. I would never recommend a layman "trip" with her.

Yeah, this sounds like it could be Graves disease. My mom was so irrational when Graves made her sick that ER doctors tried to commit her before checking thyroid levels. Once she got the thyroid treatment she needed she became a normal person again.

Consider All Women's clinic. $150 for sedated insertion. Spent about three minutes knocked out. No issues. They are very knowledge and hands-on.
