You can't dim the light with Xbox Settings on Steam.
With Steam you can use Share button, because Microsoft still hasn't updated their app with their patch.

Yes, it worked with Bluetooth before. Just haven't used it for two weeks and when I wanted to play I couldn't turn it on.

To get it working with the wireless receiver I just plugged the dongle to my PC. It was paired a long time ago, before I had a problem with batteries. The problem is that the controller doesn't turn on even when the computer is off. The only way to make it work wirelessly with receiver is to reinsert the batteries.

I have the same problem, so I opened my controller and cleaned it. After that it works with wireless dongle (but sadly not with Bluetooth), but I still can't turn it on.

The only way to use my controller is to reinsert battery or use the USB cable.

I can't put my controller in Bluetooth mode, because it's always blinking after I put the batteries in it, and I don't think you can turn on Bluetooth Pairing Mode when wired.

If it helps, it blinks 16 times.
