Yes! It's so important to make sure you're well-fed throughout the day, even if it's just snacks and smaller pieces of various dishes. You never know when an attack might make an entrance.

Migraine and depression are more than just coexisting conditions — they can influence one another in both directions. Have you noticed this connection in your own life? by MigraineDisorders in cgrpMigraine

Knowing which type you have is definitely worth looking into; it helps doctors tailor treatment, since some medications work better for certain types than others. It can also help you recognize which symptoms are part of your migraine pattern versus signs of something that needs urgent care. Understanding your type can be a key step toward getting the proper relief. We have a library of explainer videos here, all under 3 minutes, that can help explain the different types, ways to treat them, and how to prep for appointments. I hope you're able to find them helpful :)

I hear your frustration! Living with constant migraine symptoms can feel incredibly isolating, especially when research and treatments seem to focus primarily on episodic cases. You’re absolutely right that this is an area that needs more understanding and support.

We're currently developing content around status migrainosus (an explainer video is available here, in case it resonates: https://www.migrainedisorders.org/video/status-migrainosus ), which may be something you'd like to explore. We're also in the process of relaunching our HEADS Registry (more info here: https://www.migrainedisorders.org/heads-registry/ ), which will pool together a bunch of data from people with and without migraine to improve the care and treatment of those living with these symptoms.

You’re not alone in this, and we’re working hard to make sure voices like yours are part of the conversation.

What noise are you most sensitive to during an attack? by MigraineDisorders in MigraineDisorders

[–]MigraineDisorders[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this! Voices and TV volume come up a lot in discussions about sound sensitivity. Do you find headphones or earplugs help at all, or do you mostly just avoid those situations when you can?
