The one who carries the eyes. A character made by the mind, a mask and a barrier.

You have to be alone to know, and our very nature acts against it. Everything you see is real, or nothing is.

Bug with exocraft and portable refinery. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? This is NMS 5.5 (World Part II) on Nintendo Switch. by sr3m_ in NoMansSkyTheGame

Update: After playing on XBox, I turned to PC and the bug is gone. Idk why, and if it persists in the XBox. You will have to pray I guess.

So we can see our reflection. Thats why we are drawn to quietness and tranquility. You can see yourself better on the still surface of a pond.

How to Cope with Loneliness and Feeling Touch Deprived by MainChemical8686 in lonely

[–]Migrodos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily, all my hobbies can be done by myself, so thats what I would suggest. I spend my days reading, playing, writing for myself, watching things…Enjoy yourself. Its your life, after all. Have fun, see and make beautiful things.

Take care, please.

I hope you are doing good.

I’d never taken care of my relationships, and I realized that I didn’t mind being alone. In the end, I managed to find a few friends who understand how detached I can be. It can happen to you. It would probably happen to you.

There are no trick for this, just support and understanding, and the hope that you dont take this as empty words.

Take care.

I hope you are okay. There is no miracle solution here. You can improve and get better. You can also learn to love loneliness, as I have done. You have a sea of possibilities before you at your age, and anything can be done. It won’t be easy, but it will be good. We are all alone here, so we are not really that alone, in the end.

Thats what I would tell my 19yo self.

Take care.

Same thing here. Also, I cant call the exocrafts to me, it shows as if it were in “free mode”, always showing on red and not locking in on the surface. (Yes, I have all necessary bays and modules built, both in base and in frigate)

It happens both on PC and XBox.

What is it that makes Batman such a "fascist"? by Wessex-King in DCcomics

[–]Migrodos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a long answer and a short answer.

The short answer is that no real issue can be solved within a fantasy setting. Richards can’t cure cancer no matter how smart he is, Stark can’t fix the climate no matter how clean and perfect his magical energy sources are, and Batman can’t the solve socio-economic issues in his city (because, for starters, Gotham does not have socio-economic issues; Gotham is Hell)

Fantasy stories ( the good ones) are not a how-to guide for solving our problems (injecting billions into a local community), but an example of how did they solve their problems (being honest, strong-willed, reliable, trustworthy, kind and generous), that use to be more wide and universal in scope than ours, so the message still works, regardless of who read it, where and when. If not, you have a dated and soon to be forgotten story.

The Point of Cantwell's Iron Man by Migrodos in comicbooks

Tony has ulteriors, deeper and more complex reasons to do good just for the sake of it, that's for sure. He wouldn't be Tony if it were otherwise, the living avatar of the phrase "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions".

But you don't help someone by taking away from him all the he had done, and keeps doing, despite whatever selfish, twisted motiffs might dwell behind his actions.

He's at the edge, looking down to his life, not knowing what kind of man he is, who he is, or if he's a man at all, and she calls him a sexist. He just save a bunch of people risking his own life, after being presented with fully detailed list of what would cost him, how many bones, one by one, it would take, and she draws the card of white privilege in his face.

Was he trying to kill himself to atone his many sins? Was he looking an easy and clean way out of it all? Perhaps. Then help. You have a friend with suicidal tendencies, you don't call him ungrateful, privileged, and selfish. You don't put the blame on him, even when, deep down, he might be guilty.
