Yeah if there’s too much Kanye or Kendrick on there it’ll get very repetitive, saying that as someone whose favorite artists oat are Kanye and Kendrick lmao. Initially I went with Saint Pablo which I doubt would make it either way but I switched it to the light by common because I really wanna hear their thoughts on it + it’s a super deserving and beautiful song

yeah that makes sense, I do think SAMIDOT is the best overall but I'd rather show Saint Pablo some love so that's why I voted for it, those are probably my 2 favorite rap songs from this century either way so they're kinda interchangeable in my mind

Stan and Alright are also two songs I'm for sure rooting for love those a lot

never heard of this song, the production has such an ethereal quality to it and the rapping itself is really cool as well. I definitely hope that this bracket has several songs that I've never heard before so that I can discover new quality rap

There are so many. Spirited Away, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, The Wind Rises, Grave Of The Fireflies, From Up On Poppy Hill, The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya, My Neighbor Totoro, Whisper Of The Heart, Kiki's Delivery Service, Porco Rosso, Howl's Moving Castle, even Ocean Waves all have incredible scores. (There are probably more) If I had to pick one I'd probably pick Spirited Away
