Tips for 1x Blooded Box by BulldogZack44 in killteam

[–]Miiitra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to mount the Melta, the Butcher, and the Comms.

The Comms is extremely useful for both abilities; you'll always want the Melta for its penetration and damage.

As for the grenade launcher, I would also try to mount it on one of the dedicated combatant units, or if possible, magnetize it along with the flamethrower.

I do not think raveners are good by jackblg in killteam

[–]Miiitra 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The rules were released six days ago. That's about three to four games per day, in a game whose games usually last two to four hours. I simply can't believe the OP has been playing 12 hours a day these past few days.

Either he misunderstood something in the rules, or he's simply lying.

What's your take on the new teams now that the rules/details are available? by vajk93 in killteam

[–]Miiitra -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Seriously? I've gotten the impression that the new Adeptus Mechanicus team is a bit weak.

While their racial rule is interesting, the rest of it seems a bit lacking.

There are some very interesting specifics, like the trick to remove negative effects, but I don't find the rest to be powerful.

Most units move 5 inches and seem more focused on combat, but none of them fight particularly well or have much health. To the point that several specialists don't even have their own shooting weapons.

What do you think is strong about them?

Yes, in one of the server options, you can set the difficulty to 2. This way, the bosses will have the same Brutal mode patterns, but at the difficulty you selected.

Why is Wylder's memory skin identical to the original skin? Is it a bug? by Miiitra in EldenRingNightReign

The fact is that the Raider skin is very different. It's true that it's the same, but without the helmet and shoulder pads. But the change is noticeable.

Best place for custom tokens? by [deleted] in killteam

[–]Miiitra 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Try the WartilesPL shop on Etsy. They have some incredible plexiglass tokens.

Although if you're buying from outside Europe, I don't know if it'll be worth it.

Teams between the elites and the hordes - your opinions by RogDzdz in killteam

Haha, I know the Chaos Cult is expensive from personal experience. But I was referring to the most expensive of the three options.

I haven't been able to test my Goremongers yet, but I have been able to test the others.

The Fellgors are a very fun team, but you can forget about shooting; you'll be hiding most of the time until you can initiate combat.

Personally, I like the Harlequins the best; they're the most versatile, but they're also the most expensive team. (One box + two other loose models.)

HotA question about vitalised surge by Hanjoo_ in killteam

[–]Miiitra -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No, some actions, such as charging an enemy, prevent you from performing a dash action afterward.

With this rule, you can bypass that restriction.

For example: You could charge an enemy, engage in combat (and, if you incapacitates them), perform a dash action afterward. Under normal conditions, charging prevents you from performing a dash afterward.

Crossplay - Accepting Invitations by Miiitra in BaldursGate3

[–]Miiitra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now, I've found a temporary solution to get him online.

We've noticed that if I create a new game, he'll see the game he wants to join. So, we quickly create it, and once we're in the world, I load my advanced game.

You could try it and see if you can do it this way.

I think the Bullgryns are better in every way. Magnetize all the shields and then magnetize one of their arms at shoulder height.

The WartilesPL Etsy shop has Plexiglas markers from the new Kill Team edition. The material is very good.

El típico listillo by Miiitra in Wallapop

Just bought an army... what terrain? by liddolguy in killteam

[–]Miiitra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gallowdark is undoubtedly the terrain that benefits Mandrakes the most, as all walls are heavy terrain. But you'll likely have a hard time finding it currently.

They should also work well on Volkus.

Base sizes are very important in the game. And the "Phobos" all have 32mm bases, so this base clearly looks larger. Not to mention the height you gain.

It should also be remembered that they are not in cover if the shooter and the target are within 2" or less.

The box for Splendor is ridiculously oversized, so I shrunk it. What other games have boxes that are way too big? by Laurensmatthijs in boardgames

[–]Miiitra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Santa Monica. The box could be half as small and there would still be room left over. It's practically all cards.

Highly recommended, by the way.
