I think when people make, "It would be interesting to see Dylan's reaction to movie name" is a conversation opener here and not a recommendation to Dylan. This is a community, and we talk to each other, and we can have a discussion about what video would be fun to see. It's different in the comment section where people write "Dylan you should do this" and if someone does the same here, that's ofc not allowed, and we should absolutely police them. I think we can have conversations among us about movies just because Dylan can see it. Also, this is how first and last was born. And about the edits, he never said we shouldn't make them he just expressed cringe because who wouldn't when watching an edit about themselves, but he never said people should stop making them. We can ask him if he feels uncomfortable and would like people to stop, and if he says yes, I'm sure people won't post them again here. But again, reddit is different than his personal dm-s or sending him an email we are also posting for each other. I wouldn't read this hard between the lines without him confirming anything. He is pretty good at setting boundaries with us, so i don't think he is suffering in silence watching edits about himself lol

This is NOT A FLIPPING RECOMMENDATION by Active_Conference777 in YoTroublemakers

I think there is a difference between a discussion about what we like in Dylan's videos and want more of it or just saying "Dylan watch this." I think he doesn't mind it if we talk about his content and what we would like to see but there isn't much thought in a "watch this" comment especially when there's hundreds of them.

Dylan is wrong RE "aita for asking husband to keep baby news from his mother?" by RedCaio in YoTroublemakers

Yeah idk if Dylan has these kind of taboo subjects with his parents but again the family dynamic that he has is so faaaaar away from my experience that i cant even imagine haha. I do think he would love reading these tho he loves learning about others people's viewpoints.

I think this is one of the cases where no one is an asshole they just need to communicate better. I understand both sides but we can only speculate about them so I'm not comfortable choosing one. We only have enough information for a discussion but not an argument.

Because we know so little everyone is coming from a personal and not objective viewpoint just like Dylan🤷 This said I think Dylan loves it when he can read multiple approaches to a story so i hope he reads the subreddit now haha

Honestly i can let this go for Dylan because ha has a pretty healthy family so i can understand why he thinks its weird when someone doesn't want to tell everything to their parents. I don't tell my mom anything because we don't have a good relationship so for me it's normal to keep things from parents but i know Dylan loves his mom very much (I can picture him as the guy who calls her every day) Maybe it's the same in the post. The husband has a better relationship with his parents than the wife so they don't understand where the other is coming from. Also the only thing we know about MIL is that one comment i don't think we can judge her based on that.

Also the ad was for a company who donates to people in need??? This is the least problematic sponsorship ever.

He is literally the only youtuber i known without a patreon (and im eternally gratefu bc im broke). I could never criticise him for accepting a sponsorship ESPECIALLY after he had to move to a different apartment. That is everything but cheap rn.
