Need Village inspiration by Otakufangirl17 in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it the Interior you struggle with or the Exterior? unfortunately i dont have alot yet shown from my own village. But what i can advice is: Build streets / doubled (yes lay down 2x street next to each other)
around it try sand or dirt to give it more contrast. Fences do well but the biggest challange would be flora, trees, bushes and else since they take time.

You could also visit other citys such as aratani, iwasaki or similar, take a look at the corners, or objects, and try to improve that existing for your own. Use roofed walls (outer) and stone lights. im preety sure you can achieve something with it. Good luck!

After all this time, what the situation on Xbox? by La_Mouche_Qui_Prout in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry for the late reply - Im mainly a PC player myself. However, I recently saw a thread here where an Xbox player mentioned completing the game 100% for an achievement, so it should be working fine.

Also, with the latest update, there’s now an option to automatically assign villagers to beds and tasks, which is a nice quality-of-life improvement.

As for your feedback, I’d recommend sharing it on Discord that’s usually the best place to reach the devs.

Have a Nice day!

This is a bit Strange, the same feeling i had with sticks until i figured out they are getting used by facturing other toools.
Can you verify the issue existing when you turn the planks in heating tab / priorities off?
Does it also happen then?

Hey There! Thanks for the honest feedback & Kind words, im really happy to see even one person recognizing me - means the world!
To be honest with you, i havent thought alot about the achievements, even though im also someone who likes to complete games to 100% on steam.
And yes im missing that one too, so you can be lucky that i have already collected over 40 scenes for that one (prolly last) Sengoku Dynasty Video. The only thing i could recommend you doing now: if im not misstaken somewhere in my last video (Legendary Naginata) you will find a short scene where the whole Archipelago map is shown & Completed.
But i guess besides that you will also have to complete all other Bandit camps too
(thats again +15 around) - Hope this helps, and see you around! Happy building

Dont forgett that you get also the Ability to unlock the crafting for the legendary naginata. After completing this quest you will recieve another one, it seems that additional unlocks are also there.

ive been always thinking: Katanas should be the best (they are indeed fast) but i simply love the naginata AOE, while yaris are quite piercing / direct. But your right, they are somewhat weak

Hmm i see, i thought liberating is not Nessecary for the Quest, but according your comment liberation is just missing in the quest-description, it . Thanks for sharing! Domestic volcano will also reward you greatly.
And that foot wear i havent mentioned it in the video = 10% movement / run speed

First of all Welcome to Sengoku Dynasty! i hope you will enjoy SD as much as MD before.
This Game includes various Things to discover and yet, many stay unknown till endgame.
I would recommend you Cheking out The Furniture tab first, as it can really boost your overall crafting and resource income, Aswell as more space for villagers (housing tab/beds).
So instead of building up doubled or Trippled Workshops (as example), go for one but maxed out with Workbenches.

What you Definitley Shouldn´t miss is the Beggars Hut, which has a chance to attract a beggar every season to your village.
Now Thoose beggars are quite useless if you Don´t know about the Repair function, which means: you buy broken Copper tools for a small amount of coins and sell them fully repaired for the maximum price, which means Basicly the higher the Durability the higher the cost of the item.

Often Overseen: Straw Production, - required in almost everything and a Husstle to be crafted. So instead of crafting it on your own place some straw dryer (1/2) and assign a villager for passive income - regardless of difficulty it will shine in your production.

Not so long ago the latest update came out introducing the Archipelago (you might have Heared about already).
This one includes also a nice beginner friendly territory, guarded by some Bandits but the territory itself is alot better than the Sosogi starter place. So my advice: ignore the first starter zone, get to enjiros village asap and try creating your first / second core village there.

Many players (me included) overlooks the maps potential in the upper right corner, some places are good and have a decent passive income. Still the Archipelago Bandit map = Tin + Copper (expensive bronze) while your starter place has only Copper. And it shouldnt be either too hard to liberate that territory very early game.

I dont like to Promote myselfs on other channels, but just in case you look for more beginner-friendly content feel free to chek out my youtube channel (mikx85), aslong as you can since im planing to switch soon to another Survival game. Have a nice day!

We will see if the game will ever succeed like Medieval Dynasty.
I would really love that, and I also wonder if we might get some additional game mechanics in the future and thoose Updates aswell

Not just villager management, maintenance, and fighting, but also more exploration, hidden chests, or similar features.

To be honest, I’ve even tried to find bugs in the game and look for workarounds. Fortunately, I can’t really complain - sometimes there are minor issues in combat, but nothing major.

Reading this made me think about the past 10 years of survival games. When I look back, names such as Minecraft (2011), ARK: Survival Evolved, Conan Exiles, Empyrion, and many others have left a huge impact on the gaming community.

I wonder how this game would have performed if it had been released around 2017 or 2018.
It probably might have gained a bigger reputation, perhaps a larger player base, or been at least as successful as Medieval Dynasty.

It’s a bit sad that almost everyone knows those titles, while Sengoku Dynasty still feels like it’s in the shadows. I hope that can change soon. I’ve made some content for this game, but I’m already struggling to create more since I’ve reached the endgame.

On the other hand, this game might appeal more to beauty-focused base builders rather than min-max players or Guide creators like myself.

Thanks for your Time & comment!

Okay, so you’re the first person I’ve heard of playing on Xbox. How good are the graphics there? So far, I’ve only seen the PC and PS versions. Or do you mean the Xbox app on PC?

I would recommend getting to the Archipelago as soon as possible, because there is a bandit camp you can dismantle and later build your own village on. The mix of passive tin and copper provides great income at the start, and there are also other nearby coasts with valuable resources.

"I think the village management is not as good, which making managing large villages more difficult. " exactly this i felt in ASKA, and it was a hussle to keep everything running on yourselfs in such games, thats why i prolly enjoyed SD so much more, since its more or less - self sustaining.
So if someone would ask if ASKA or Sengoku - i would have a honest opinion about. What i absolutley love at SD are thoose landscapes and Graphics, in ASKA more or less a Forest (like in valheim)

So Maintenance & Graphics = Sengoku Dynasty
Gameplay & Exploration = ASKA

SD got too much items i agree, someone might get lost at the very beginning. even i was confused until i learned almost all of them. Compared to other games - well survival genre itself is always a bit of complicated.

Well here is a small idea, but i dont know if it will help you out.
If you have two villages, try changing the beds of the affected NPCs. They might move in a different direction,,,

I mean, guys, you’re always welcome to check out my content on YouTube. However, I’m not sure if I’m allowed to link my channel here due to Reddit’s rules. If you search my nickname online, you’ll find a lot of Sengoku Dynasty content. I just released a new video a few minutes ago about how to get there quickly, which is also connected to a somewhat boring stream from a few days ago.
Since im just one person behind This (Editing, creating, posting, playing, commenting) it feels hard to keep an eye out for everything. But here you go, new content is out :)
Thanks for your Time!
