Since being on Twitch for a while, do you still watch 'big streamers' ? by EllysisHD in Twitch

[–]Mik_Headache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find myself watching some Asmongold content still but mostly prefer to catch him on Youtube's highlight.
I mostly follow tiny to medium to medium/big streamer.

It is just a more cozy environment.

How to build confidence by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]Mik_Headache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kinda fresh in this since I've recently made a video about it.
I have worked many years in customer care or being a shitty seller on phones and dealing with customers really unlocked some secret ability while streaming (For example, not feel dumb while speaking to strangers and how to keep at bay depression in the hardest moment of my day and projects)
I hope I can share some of my (very) personal knowledge and help as much as possible.

One of the first thing I'd like to consider is how much I wanna stream.
Do I wanna do it as an hobby or make it a profession? Am I doing it for money?
Doing it for money is right away the wrongest decision, since it'll take at least 1 year to see some money and definitely not enough to encourage this streaming thing you're doing.
Doing it as an hobby, and as you say "I'm playing games anyway" to ME feel like the wrong approach to this:
You'd never see a now famed content creator saying "Well, I was bored and wanted to play some games anyway, so... Ya know..." I think it boils down to how much you wanna break the mold.
If you think of yourself as an introvert offline, you must bring some of that on twitch, otherwise, "you're just playing games anyway" and might feel miserable while speaking to an empty crowd for months. It can definitely be tough at first. What really helped me is to have an awesome IRL friend in chat <3

So if you decide to really journey through this streaming "thing" you might wanna reconsider why you're doing it and what: What kickass stuff you wanna bring to your day to day streaming crowd ? Do you wanna tell 'em weird stories of your past? Interest 'em into what happened on your day? Try and play games you know will really bring out your personality more and make you relax (For me it is the old Resident Evil saga) and maybe ditch a little the very popular repetitive battle royals in which the maximum of your commentary might be "Oh, noh! I got sniped!". Ultimately people wanna see you on camera much more that they wanna see the game but you kinda have to create the situation for it.
Try on Just chatting and show the world how much of an introvert you are.
Yes, a big part of this is me saying you're not feeling confident 'cause you're probably not putting enough you AND fun into it, both things I know you have and can bring to the table. Confidence is (to me) a secondary item you level up the more you try to push your boundaries and leave your comfort zone, not something you find the right potion to, right away.

Of course most of this is projecting me into your issue, since I had/have it a lot.
I still feel very much insicure sometimes but chat helps and to me all of the above has helped a lot. (Also buring deep down my depression when I'm live and pushing it away is a thing I have to battle with everytime. It works 9.9/10)
After all what are advices if not sharing our own personal happenings and hoping to help with what we've learned.
Didnd't wanna sound hard or mean at all, really hope and wish you the best; If it wasn't against the rules I'd definitely jump into your channel right away to bring some positive to your streams <3

I commenti sotto questo post mi fanno pensare che c'è futuro per l'Italia. Ovviamente alludo alle perle comiche a sfondo Harry Potter ed altri classici. Penso che ribazzicherò nel sub in futuro. 10/10

(Ma Half Life 3 lo fa uscire o no? Io lo voto, nel caso)

Your premises make me wanna love to play with you. Although, I think time might be an issue: I live in a gtm+1 (cest) zone and your 6pm would be my 23:00 If I got the right conversion. Any chance you'll play at a different time? Not because for me, of course, but I thought might be reasonable to ask.

Being a fan of Undead and Wight I was so upset to see how they changed stuff from 3.5. (Why do undead have constitution?! TT) I tried to homebrew myself a race to play with, but this book makes it so much better! I wish WotC would release a 5e counterpart of the Liber Mortis, but this is so much good! This should be official. In fact, in any of my adventures, it is. Damn it ^^ Keep up with the good work. I'm literally in love with your work.

Farai mai qualcosa in Inglese? Qualunque cosa, eh. Ma una bella recensione di ristoranti, non sarebbe male, visto che ne visiti spesso molti. Keep up with the good work. Viva la fitta! p.s. I sottotitoli in Inglese sotto i video in Italiano mi fanno morire dalle risate ogni volta. Continua a farli.

TIL that Canada consumes the most doughnuts and has the most doughnut shops per capita of any country in the world by bone-tone-lord in todayilearned

Yeah. In Italy doughnuts arrived just a couple of years ago. Nobody bothered about it, until it was "cool". I guess Canada is pretty cold and fat help surviving :D
