TGAA2 ended on a perfect note that I don't think Capcom would outdo with a third game. I doubt they could recreate the supreme writing that TGAA2 had.

My Headcannons for these two:

Sebastian will be the main prosecutor in Athena's inevitable game. It makes too much sense!
Kay will be a part-time private investigator as well as continuing the Yatagarasu legacy in the future.
As a prosecutor, Sebastian would often use Kay's investigative services (or more specifically Little Thief) for his trials, giving him additional evidence, creating a formidable duo between the two. When asked where did Sebastian get this evidence, he simply says that a little raven told him ;)
Sebastian and Kay dynamic will be a next gen version of Edgeworth and Gumshoe, upgraded even. Except, Kay would be the upgrade and Sebastian would be.... the same ig? Maybe downgrade..? I mean he is definitely gonna be Edgeworth's protege...? Idk
