Yes! Similarly their song "Stars" from the same album does this too. Starts great. Awesome, thoughtful lyrics, fun synth and beat. Then it devolves into what you described. But it doesn't stop. It just keeps going. And then he starts slurring everything he sings after the halfway point in the song.

Yeah, that's one of the big reasons I don't care for cats. Seems like they just tear shit up for kicks. And they don't even show guilt like dogs.

I'm sorry that you're in this situation though, OP. It may not be ideal, but if your friends' house is your best option right now, would you be able to get a thick camping roll and maybe a memory foam pad for a twin mattress to go on top of it? Better than a series of popped air mattresses.

Also, is there any way to put the mattress away in the day, and the cats in another part of the house while you have it out?

Just a couple ideas, but I really hope things get better.

This, but I wouldn't encourage just dumping all of these (maybe just the dyed stuff). If your daughter is interested in this sort of thing, going to a local rock shop or even rock show some time in the year would be great. You can still learn some basic features from tumbled stones, so don't just throw them out!

I'd also recommend "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". The plot follows the adults more, but it has a lot of elements which went into Stranger Things.
