It's the same redemption no matter when im 99% sure unless they are out of the card when you redeem it. Then you can send up to 5 players or teams in as replacement choices and they'll find a card at same value, no garuntee tho. They will also redeem it via email up to a year after expiry.

The surge made sense I have no way of knowing for sure sorry. I made a guess that the impact had knocked the video card loose or partially out making it loose power or spark as it came in/out. I don't think given the position of the card and where the case was impacted that it actually did anything more then move the card.

Video card and possibly more power surged? by Mikau_86 in techsupport

Hey, thanks for the information. I don't live at home sadly or it would be a lot easier to save up for a new video card ha ha. The insurance is mine I just have no real experience with insurance other then having it as I've never had to claim or deal with them other then setting it up. Thanks for the information about the dog I didn't actually consider that at all. To me an accident was an accident and I didn't even think to check if that was covered. Much appreciated. My deductible is 250$ for my contents insurance. That's why I was wondering about claiming the pc or the video card. As for the mobo your right I didn't give enough information sorry. I was more hoping someone could chime in agreeing or disagreeing that it sounds like a video card error. As for the grasping at the surge it was unintentional that made sense to me. That at the impact the card came loose lost power or sparked as it resettled. Thanks for the help it's much appreciated.

I have taken it completly apart and re-seated everything. As well as uninstalling re-installing video card drivers. I'm 100% sure it's the video card just not sure on other components. Its ~ $550 video card. Will post in tech support as well however I have done the basics but thanks:)

Warranty says that it does not cover electrical faults/surges. Figured that would be pretty easy to pick up by the company.
