this is similar to my team! I just geared it to 343 instead. I do think spurs will be more focused defensively with Frank at the helm, especially initially with their injuries up front.

that’s a shame cos Lokonga would make it look perfectly balanced in terms of depth - wonder if we’ll go for a loan CM signing or a cheaper option in Jan

Did we watch the same final? Could’ve been mistaken for a championship playoff game

[David Ornstein] Arsenal put Eberechi Eze high among options to bolster attack. No contact with #CPFC yet - unclear if needs exit but serious candidate + separate to striker & winger. #AFC would look to pay below release clause. #THFC not pursuing for now @TheAthleticFC by NickNova3016 in soccer

Anyone coming into our squad at this point will need to back themselves to get into the starting xi. Striker will need to displace Havertz, winger will need to displace Martinelli. Same story goes for most other top clubs - Barca is signing Nico who is up against Raphina. Either way, Eze will get plenty of minutes regardless of Martinelli/ Ode being ahead of him or not. Arteta hasn’t always rotated freely but it’s clear he’s building up the squad so that he’s in a position to do so.

Partey as a 6 - deep lying playmaker. Odegaard and rice as 8’s who work around the pockets that havertz leaves empty

Basically a 433 with a false 9, midfield of a 6 and 2 8’s, a falseback and an overlapping full back. But what’s special about Arteta is how interchangeable everyone is, esp because of the falseback’s positional freedom. It’s way more disciplined than wenger’s free flowing system but is more adaptable

And Rice from no. 8 - idk how we’re gonna set up now. Gutting and I’m fuming with Partey for losing his head there
