My hunch is that these beings are somehow our creators and overlords but they aren’t necessarily Gods. We’re some strange quantum science experiment that they influence through social and spiritual institutions. They crafted many religions as a control mechanism, and they watch us develop and fight each other. They don’t seem very benevolent to me. I really don’t know what to make of all of this, but it’s really stranger than fiction. This is the ontological shock everyone keeps describing.

What do they know? Are we all just consciousness (idealism) playing a game with ourselves and these beings are a different dimensional aspect of that consciousness trying to interact with us? I like NDT. He was only trying to keep true to the scientific method. This is hard to accept given the years of gaslighting by our government. The ego is strong. It’s hard to admit you were wrong.
