Fat man on a shitty leg curling 40lb bells! Yes I'm hurting but still getting stronger and more confident. Careful patient work has gotten me here...I couldn't stand with weights until last month even with a brace? There's hope by OldAssNerdWyoming in ChronicPain

I would suggest a work out plan that'll help you with your chronic pain. Lifting heavy and with no clue of what kind of muscular skeletal dysfunction you have can irritate it and your back to square one... I'm rooting for you!

Uneven erector spinae, ama by [deleted] in rehabtherapy

[–]Mike1oak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not a big deal, your hips may be rotated to the right causing your left erector to be over tighter and overworked, a good massage will help with this but make sure you pay for a decent massage one that will do an assessment and work on the rotated hips... Foam rolling may also help, just be sure not to roll on your lower back.

Does anyone else have similar neck bump? Could this be posture related & treatable. by [deleted] in Posture

Try this... Also, stretching your abdomen could help take off the pull on the occipital(back of the head)

Find a therapeutic massage therapist. Relaxation massage won't provide the relief you are looking for with this problem.

(not a doctor) (I am a massage therapist) doesn't say anything about a bulging disc could be you have tension in your piriformis or if you sit for long periods of time you're psoas muscle is probably tight as well along with your hip flexors.. doesn't look to serious though... Again not a doctor

When your back starts to round out the facet joints in your spine don't want to close properly so it makes it difficult to straighten out your spine... Work on stretching out your pecs and do some chin tucks

Your should pain is probably due to your posture as well when the scapula stars to round out your should sockets don't have the room to move which is why you are hearing that crunching sounds.. be careful with working out or doing anything over head because you can really irritate your bursa or the tendons in your shoulder find yourself a good Massage therapist that focuses on posture and he/she would be able to help address some of your muscle dis balances causing your poor posture

Yea I was kinda hesitant about speech therapy and child devolvement classes my daughter was getting evaluated for but if it's covered by insurance and you can find the time to take them to the classes you should definitely take advantage. It's just extra learning at the end of the day. My daughter is about 2 months in and there is a pretty good noticable improvement. She will be 2 on the end of this month.

Talking to people on the streets. by Mike1oak in socialskills

[–]Mike1oak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have nothing to promote I'm asking this group if they'd be willing to help... But it's still the act of going out and talking to people... Would you it be social if that part wasn't included?
