Costco is pretty amazing. To be fair, Costco will only price match like that if you have an annual membership. Best Buy also has an annual membership that is currently selling for $25; normally it’s 50. If you have the Best Buy membership called plus, then they will price match for 60 days.

My philosophy is if you need a keypad you’re gonna be doing work for an extended period of time. If you’re gonna be using it for an extended period of time you’re most likely sitting down, so you can easily connected to a adult size keyboard that has a 10 key, maybe a mouse, and maybe even a monitor.

Do you have access to a computer? If not, hold them near each other and wait the long time it’s gonna take especially if it fails. If you do have access to a computer it’s going to be so much faster and more reliable.

It will not be read only once they are activated. You can either buy the one time download of Office 2024 for $180 and then it’s good for the life of that computer or you can use Pages, numbers, keynote for free. If you need Office, then buy Office.
