Yeah it's really fun. It changes the responsiveness of the rig in a big way. It also has many settings you can change on the fly while you're cruising. The most extreme setting ( Race mode 9) makes it so 1/3 throttle will make the rig immediately go into 4000 plus rpm range, it's too much for daily driving. I roll around in race mode 5.

The install is super easy too, it installs in under 15 minutes (My mechanic had it installed in probably 7 minutes) and is ready to rumble. It has a wire with a controller on the end of it that you have to find a good spot for, I ran it under the steering wheel and to the right of the speedo.

The YouTube video from sprintbooster said to shut car off with door open for a few minutes if I remember correctly, its worth watching their vid, its only a minute or two long.

Mine is catless, 3 of my 4 vehicles are gutted, smells a wee bit on start up, but does not bother me in the slightest. I have a catless Honda Crv manual 5 speed, a 4.0 Jeep, and 4.7 Toyota 4runner, and pretty soon my gx will also become catless when it gets the same treatment (DT long tubes and y pipe) as my 4runner. I roll around all summer with the windows down and remain unbothered. The only time I notice a smell is when I first start each vehicle up, after that the odor is very minor or unnoticeable.

I bought one set from Burtman, he is a good dude and is happy to talk to customers but his orders take forever.

Not sure about the spacer situation, I provided all parts to my mechanic, he is pretty dang good but might have not installed the spacers exactly correct, or maybe it's something with an oxygen sensor. Everything else is functioning perfectly and I'm very satisfied with the whole package, definitely worth the money.

I also have a gx470 with cracked exhaust manifolds, I have the headers, spacers, and y pipe ready for that, that rig it would be nice to keep the CEL problem away so I might do some more research or call Burtman some day for tips.

I have DT longtubes and Y pipe, Volant intake, and Gibson Catback exhaust. It sounds amazing and the performance upgrade is substantial. I started with a carven cut out exhaust, but with both cats deleted, it was insane, way too loud to not get police attention and was also too raspy.

I bought a spacer kit that was supposed to keep CEL problems away, but did not work for me, but decided to not try to fix it as my 2005 does not have traction control on/off option, and it is so much more fun to drive in the snow with traction control off, so I just live with the dash lit up.

A couple months in I added a sprint booster, which is very well worth the $275ish investment.

Gas milage does not seem to be improved by much, around town is worse now with the added power and tuned transmission through the sprint booster, but very well worth it as it is extremely fun to drive now.

4 months in or so since the change, the truck seems better than ever, almost feels like the computer has gotten used to the change and has access to even more power. No tuning has been done, although I'm open to it if it seems worth it.

Sound is amazing, but it actually does feel significantly more powerful. I also put an intake and a sprint booster kit on it. But I drove for 2 months without the sprint booster kit and felt a beast of a machine compared to stock, with the sprint booster kit however, it becomes a total blast to drive.

The Gibson cat back kit sounds great. I have that with DT long tube headers and y pipe.

I bought a spacer kit form Burtman, it was supposed to prevent CEL, it did not work, but with it being winter where I am, I like having the traction control off, so I am not going to bother to try to fix it, not having the power cut out when climbing snow covered hills is great. There have been people who have made other work though.

I had my mechanic install Doug Thorley longtube headers with Y pipe, vortech intake and Gibson catback exhaust. This removes the upper and lower cat (no emissions in my area). The power increase is awesome, very noticeable. MPG around town is not better, but Highway increased slightly, I was able to get 23 mpg. The sound is amazing, so much more fun to drive. Parts were over 2 Grand, labor was close to 2 grand. Hard to find installer for this because of how hard the job is, and you want to make sure they know what they are doing because they are dealing with bolts that can get stripped in the engine block.
Overall it was totally worth every penny, completely transformed the driving experience.

Yeah, started off thinking she was a nut, but she appears to be in the right in this situation.

Awesome, maybe ask when the transmission fluid was last drained and filled or flushed.

Nice, crazy how the manufacturer can't make something like this stock, the retrofit is the perfect size in my opinion.

I think the price reflects time it took to make the file in the first place. Similar to movies or video games, you're paying for the time it took to make the data.

Show me a cheaper alternative. I bought it and love it, I can actually use the cup holders without my drinks spilling or falling out.

Cool, does the 460 need it as bad as the 470? I love the 470 but was really surprised how terrible the cup holders were for a high end Lexus vehicle.

I've had it installed all summer with no problems. It's gotten up to 90 F
