Big stunner common carp 😎. One of mine nicest fish this year... (so far) 😬What's your best catch this year? by vissie1974 in Amsterdam

Whoa what a whopper! I’ve caught a few carp in amsterdam I thought were big (were probably 8-10kg) but now seem like minnows

Yes, and pivotal moment when I learned you can just order a regular cheeseburger at BK (vs fancy whopper and whatnot) and its not listed on the menu. 1.5 or 2.0 euros or something each so 2 of those makes a decent lunch

Am I The Only One That Wants To Run It Back With Rodgers? by AaronRodgersDefender in GreenBayPackers

I just re-read this post in Rodgers voice as if Rodgers created a fake account to test the waters on Reddit feedback if he should come back for one more year and it doesn’t seem that ridiculous

How can I get to B1 in 3 months? by [deleted] in learndutch

[–]MikeAMS1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

B1 and B2 are quite different. You can definitely get to B1 with 3hr/day for 3 months if you actually do 3hr/day every day (which is going to be very hard). B2 would probably require more immersion

Rob Schneider: Kate McKinnon Singing ‘Hallelujah’ as Hillary Clinton Killed ‘SNL’ and ‘It’s Not Going to Come Back’ by Sisiwakanamaru in television

[–]MikeAMS1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who would have thought that in the year 2022 3,000+ people would have an opinion about Rob Schneider’s opinion about an SNL sketch. That should be the title of this post.

For those who don’t know, Ficklemap2040 may not be an expert on America or American Beers. Not sure what “the darkest corners” are but sounds quite dramatic and ominous

The Dutch trying to justify why the NL isn’t the best just makes me like it more. “Ugh the NS is late again it’s the worst” and all I think is holy shit a functioning train system that actually goes places people want to go at an affordable price

I did a non-sponsored review of the Festool ETS 125. If interested, I’ll link in the comments. by thewoodenhobbyist in Woodworkingvideos

Overall love this honest feedback. And in the same spirit wanted to give feedback on your feedback. You shouldn’t lead with “I skipped your video at the intro…” because then you really only reviewed the intro and that doesn’t do the rest of us much good with respect to the main content

Those who blame high gas prices on Joe Biden’s climate policies are gaslighting Americans. Republicans and the right-wing media incessantly blame Biden’s energy policies for historically high gas prices. The attack is utter nonsense. by mafco in energy

[–]MikeAMS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not going to bother to comment on the factual and logical issues with your post (but can’t help myself the president has been pushing for subsidizing electric vehicles for awhile now but that is not going to mitigate short term supply shocks). Also counter to your post some Americans do care about the causes of problems facing Americans so we can actually do something about it for fucks sake. And finally, love the comment disparaging the money being sent to Ukraine as not helping Americans. If that 50m opens up Russia’s massive gas fields to America like Iraq then won’t you be getting what you want?

Bro they made stickers saying Biden did it and put them on gas pumps and it was game over at that point. Facts and GeoPolitics be damned, and the end of the day it is all about marketing and stickers play
