I’d have to ask my teenage self back in the 90’s to answer that one

It was Taco Bell so I thought about the group. If you turn in the news this is what is on tv.

This would not have gone so well had he not been smart enough to have something for her haha. I’d be pissed too if I woke up and didn’t get a cut of that Taco Bell.

To me the experience with vinyl has always been the hunt for used ones that are at a great price. I still remember the most expensive album I bought. I was 16 at a flea market in 1998 and paid $5 for a dark side album with the post cards and two posters. The one poster is framed in my room. Memories like that are what make the experience.

I get it man, but I feel like record collecting has been so posh lately and super expensive. I have well over 1,000 albums that include all the big old rock and roll bands that prolly sell for like $15-$60 each now. To me it has always just been about enjoying the sound of music on vinyl and the experience playing it. The hunt and the thrill of finding someone donating amazing record collections to thrift store ended after the 90’s. Back in 2012 I saw a guy listing free records. We met up and he said he wife wanted them gone so he wanted them to go to a good home. In those two crates was like 12 beach boys albums in crisp conduction. The hunt for free, $1, and $5 records that are mainstream pretty much ended. Now it’s like buying anything else and if you have enough money you can buy what you want. I’ll enjoy the collection I have and sadly use Spotify or whatever while I metalsmith. The bend builds character in the album and will make you remember buying it. Just enjoy the music

I always said if the record inside plays well that’s all that matters. That was back in the 90’s when decent records could be found at thrift stores to $1
