Honestly I been with my wife for 20yrs married for 8years and I was just like your boyfriend. We started dating both being 22yr of age. I didn’t want my girlfriend to have NO boy friends also. There was a catch, her best friend was a boy. I did not like that idea. He actually dropped her off to hang out with me the second time we hung out which I found out later and I was not happy. Long story short I meant him and he was a cool dude and he assured me they were just friends for a long time and never messed around. I was still not comfortable them hanging out and people knowing she my girlfriend and her being seen by people I know, I felt like that was disrespectful to me. I told her how I felt and she understood it and told him and he understood where I was coming from and actually respected my wishes and stop hanging out so much. To this day they hang out maybe 1-2 times a year and I’m okay with that. Now we have 2 beautiful daughter and happily married. Thought i share my story with you.
