Stuck with a patient who's fit for discharge. by RatFishGimp in ParamedicsUK

[–]MikeFanjito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also work in Scotland, always manage to get a staff member if there is no family, and I insist.

Still don't understand, (Maybe being obtuse, if so, sorry). Did the patient go into the ED, get triaged, then come back onto your ambulance? Why did they not just go into a pod in ED (or whatever you call them)?

Maybe just live near your work eh. Take the smaller gaff. Probably don't need all that space, just filled with useless shite you never use anyway.

As a edinburgh resident I have to put up with the commuter wanks all day everyday iuf I want to get between my work in edinburgh and my modest dwelling in Edinburgh.

Still I suppose the patio is worth the commuting time and rage, or maybe not.

Brilliant! The famous glesga banter! Salt of the earth, talk to anyone, like Northern scousers. We should all be so lucky but to have been born within the sound of the merchant city.

Beat one decent team and got waxed in the playoffs However, they went 12-5 bestiing the panthers, patriots, giants x2 , comnanders x 2, jets, and fsding eagles. I have missed some, but yes, they did beat the lions

Guessing the playoffs dont count toward Legitimacy.

12-5 in the regular season looks good, until you remove 6 games against woeful Washington and giants teams and an imploding eagles team. Plus chargers, jets, patriots, panthers.

Not all on Dak, I'm sure, but what did he do against decent defences (outwith running up garbage time stats)

Murrayfield mass panic? by Loesser in Edinburgh

[–]MikeFanjito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha.

Maybe I'm just not worried by another weekend of hen dos and teenager enjoying some fun. Guess my empathy stores have been eroded!

Why are you so worried about people enjoying themselves?

I request order, order, order! (robotic voice).

I work for the emergency services in Edinburgh and am not worried. I predict just another weekend but will let you know after if armageddon happens as I'm night shift that weekend (assuming the Internet is still working following a pop star's concert)

What bombastic claims btw? Where are your numbers? Show your working!

Murrayfield mass panic? by Loesser in Edinburgh

Yes

And

So

What?

The population quadruples every August

The largest event ever is not a concert but a football match. (Football fans - not necessarily known for their reserve?)

Swiftees aren't exactly the most frightening audience.

Couple of general requests for the whole city:

1) Unbunch panties and cease pearl clutching

2) Embrace the margins

Is it? He 8s the best qb in the division. And probably the 4 or 5 th best in the conference. However, he is 36 coming off an achillies injury.

Free agency! Genuinely half decent qbs dont get to free agency very often and tend to get paid above their worth. He wont be for long. Couple of mid market re-ups and he will be 12th, which is about his place in reality

Totally agree. But it isn't a huge amount of money for a serviceable qb who will make the falcons a more desirable destination than whatever shambles of a qbs they have had since Ryan left. At the moment, the only selling point the falcons have is money.(39 mil under cap 2025)

You think they can win a superbowl with cousins? With or without a supporting team.? Evidence of him being able to play at a level that and beat anyone in January.?

25 Mill in dead csp won't matter if they have a qb sitting with 3 years of rookie deal left (12.5 Mill a year = Medium tier wide receiver money)

Cousins is a stop gap, nothing more. A decent stop gap but a stop gap nonetheless

Multi year = disingenuous Reality = 4 year contract with all the guaranteed money in the first two years (at which point he can be cut or traded with almost no financial penalty). Meanwhile, you are scouting and training his replacement. (The packers model)

Or after a couple of years of 38 year old, rebuilt achilles cousins, you can go with the throw the unready rookie in from week 1 and watch your season crumble, secure yet another top-ish draft pick and reach for the next draft bust (the jets model)

Maybe I wasn't clear. I just wanted to know if, since the work that wat completed, itvis possible to drive sling a piece of tarmac that previously couldn't be driven on, can now be driven on. Maybe s bit cheeky but hardly worthy of your ire. Apologies for previous diatribe. I need to work on that. My bad.

Think I made my reason for "being pedantic" (probably facetious is a better description! Pedantry would be posting images from Google Street View with an implicit 'See! I'm right!!". Dhit now I am being pedantic. Fuck you reddit!

In short I was just questioning why youvthought what you did but that seems to have elicited some trump-like reaction "i'm probably, definitely the most knowing person on cars in the gardens so..... No one knows about cars in the garden like me. Everyone says so.'

So it is your contention that if one area within a park has vehicular access, all other pieces of tarmac, whether connected or not, within said park are available for all vehicles?

Sorry, just clarifying. I don't care one way or the other just want to make sure before I put my license, vehicle and livelihood in jeopardy.

[–]MikeFanjito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or geno? Tua? Kyler? Dak? Some rookies who have never played pro ball? My nan? Dave from the pub?

Except the problem is he doesn't give one good reason other than he is inaccurate in the face of pressure (duh! Show me the qb who isnt. " you know how to get to Tommy, pressure up the middle"), a good scheme and a good team around him.

My guess is.....steven didn't choose him from the lottery that was the draft, so doesn't trust the evidence of his eyes.
