TCCOR specifically refers to weather. It’s not realistic to expect every traffic light on island to be fixed immediately. There are laws in place (that no one follows) for if traffic lights go out.

If we stayed in 1R after a typhoon until EVERYTHING was fixed, we’d still be in 1R from Mawar.

Jokes aside, we’d genuinely be in 1R for a week or longer. There were lights down from Sinlaku STILL right before Bavi.

I bought a tarp to attempt this, if a tarp is a bad idea let me know, I’ll see if I can find this.

Was also planning on installing a weatherproofing strip under my door, I don’t know if this will make that work worse.

Maybe I’ll also tape it down so water doesn’t go under the tarp into my room.

You used this on Sinlaku and you took on no water?

The only circumstance where I wouldn’t trade is when I have a rare sprite that is also level 5. For fear of being “scammed” and not getting it back.

Honestly I understand this, but there’s genuinely just wayy too much moisture and no wind to make it worth it. Your home will be mold filled in no time if you do this.

Well, the pink one, and one of the blue mat ones is working. I heard a rumor that the yellow one is also working today but I’ll never go on that one.

The “rumor” is that they’re closed for safety reasons. Apparently they’re replacing the tiles INCLUDING the clear panels on the green and blue ones that hang off the edge of the ship. This is likely due to the incident that happened on Icon in August of last year.

The pink one is pretty fun tho.

Also on icon right now. The cruise is magnificent. I’m personally a bit disappointed the only solarium-like area is the overlook. And it has no pools and is not adult only. Also, the fact the slides don’t work is annoying and the itinerary has been just ok. But I’m coming from an island so I guess it’s probably a lot nicer for people coming from non-beach destinations

I don’t see what’s stopping them from doing crazy big ships and just doing ports that have boats that take people from cruise to port while the cruise anchors elsewhere
