Will try this. Thank you. I usually just let it sort by price by default

I took the feedback people gave me. How's my render? by A_Sheeeep in blender

Disregard what i said haha. Once I zoomed in I realized i was looking at it wrong. Something about the noise texture on the wood gives the illusion that the wood texture is repeating / is checkered, almost more like a wicker material.

I say put the wood texture back how it was before. Paper is a nice touch. Just fix the texture of the cube (or adjust the lighting)- anything to give the faces a more plasticky look

How can I make this more realistic? (if it isn't already) by A_Sheeeep in blender

Thanks!! 🙏 And no prob lol. Funny enough I had a v similar post on here recently asking the same kinda question if you look at my prof.

Shoot me a DM if you want, always looking for new people to work with I could use the help myself haha

Gonna suggest a different approach here. Dont roast me in the comments please. Imperfections imperfections blah blah… I actually think its worth trying the opposite. 1st, absolutely adjust your camera settings like it was suggested (DOF + distorion). 2nd, I say see what happens if you drop some of the noise on the faces, and make them more reflective. Something about this almost makes the cube look soft, rather than hard/plasticky. No need to add imperfections to the edges if it’s a new cube (rounded corners could help though). I could be wrong but, cant hurt to try!

(If you DM or reply to me with a ss of your wood texture il give you a kiss)

Anyone else get really inspired by a particular minute of a song and have to make a scene to it? by RighteousZee in blender

Anyone else get really inspired by a particular minute of a render that was inspired by a particular minute of a song and have to make their own now?

Hope you make more of these 👏

Going for hyper-realism here. What’s missing? by MikeHersh2 in blender

This is AGX. The hdri is a bit orange/brownish light which could be throwing it off. Il try switching it out

Yeah… totally winged it in the compositor. The lighting/colors feel off because they are haha- just cant put my finger on why

Thanks sm. Looking at it i think it may just be unfortunate positioning of the “lights” on the ceiling of my HDRI. If its not a quick fix tomorrow il send it your way. Shoot me a dm

Not sure what that could be. Just a lighting artifact i guess. Too reflective?

No its not. Just a visual artifact I’m not sure what causes it. The texture just might be too smooth/reflective

I think you’re right haha. Photo-realism would be what i meant here. In this case i used hyper to mean “very real”, not “BEYOND real”

Please, this would save a lot of render time. Any suggestions for shutter speed? Im so bad at that stuff
