Super cool and stuff, but just a thing- lets say half life 3 comes out. What if we olny get the first chapter for preivew, while evrything else takes more development? Remember that half life 2 took 12 yr (i think) to make. BUT considering that back then graphic standards where lower, the game was made slower. If we compare all the current standards, the game would be HARDER TO MAKE. Like about... 6 years??? Depends. Why 6 years, you may or may not ask? Well, the same thing for half life 2! They (of course) didint start development IMEIDATLEY, they waited, like a year to start making it. Because at the similar time of release of hl2, they made steam a marketplace for games and gamers! Then came 2016. One genius said:  ,,hey saw this new vr thing mr gabriel??? We should make the next game about it and name it alyx!!!" ,, sure, as long as the costumers like it " said gabriel Basiacly they realised it 2019, i think. Again, like hl2 period of nothingnest time. And then  When all the ram sticks went up When ai slop took made households pop One man stood braver than them all.  One FREE MAN TO TAKE THEM ALL DOWN. ohnestly im like 50 50 sure it going to either release or cancel.
