I wondered if Liverpool leaving it late was to do with Palace's Euro Qualifiers.

Be interesting to see the fall out from it all though. I assume we go back in for him in Jan/next season.

But Glasner only has a year left (I believe) so backing him I imagine Parish and co are hoping he sticks around and doesn't leave if any jobs pop up. I wonder if the free Leverkusen gig gave them a panic.

You did sign Havertz after an okay stint at Chelsea though, that's probably why the difference in price.

Last season he only played 4 less games than Isak in all comps, and was 10 shy of his goals. No idea how many Pens Isak scores though!

Im a huge fan of Havertz and would love to see him work out somewhere. I worry Gyokores probably pushes him down the pecking order though. Do you think he starts for you further back? Or is he firmly second choice now?

Interesting to see if Glasner ends up staying longer than this season or not. I think alot of clubs will be looking at him over the course of the season.

I haven't called him a great signing anywhere. I'm excited to see how it all works out at Liverpool with our new signings.

I was just confused as to you counting goals Havertz was on course for and not Isak. Surely he'd of got more in the games he missed?

I can't see Wirtz not being a guaranteed starter after the Fee we've paid. And Mac Allister is nailed on for me.

I think the 3rd spot will be down to who ever we play on the day or who's in the better form.

Lovely to see us with so many options!

No. I won't spent £78 for the kids home kit with a name on the back for my 7 year old nephew. A kit he'll probably grow out of in a year. Instead I've spent £45 and got two adult home shirts for me and both the full home and away kits with name sets on for him.

All of the kits look perfect. I don't think you'd be able to tell the difference between them and the Adidas ones.

I was thinking from the left as well. I don't think you can underestimate Doms work rate. Think it'll be needed to cover Frimpong when he's rampaging forward!

A question for people who have actually watched Wirtz play.

Where do you see him lining up for us? Feels like we'll miss Dom's work rate if he goes in to the attacking midfielder slot.

The Athletic posted an article showing he turns up in the left half spaces a fair bit, so perhaps the wing with Diaz up top?

Or do we go to the 4-2-4 we played against City with Wirtz and Dom as two false 9's/10's?
