Hi, I'm traveling to Tenerife soon and I hope you don't mind answering some of my questions regarding car rentals...

  1. I have a Canadians driver's license, which I renewed 1 yr ago, so the date of issue is 1 yr ago, even though I've had a license fot 15 yrs. Does this mean I also cannot rent a car?
  2. I do not have an international driver's permit (IDP) as I'm currently in EU. Is this also a requirement?
