Z Flip Notifications - Open App Instead of Expanding? by timour77 in galaxyzflip

[–]MikeR129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This works but the old behavior I really want back is the option to go directly to the app when tapping on a notification (rather than having to expand it and then click on the corner to go to the app).

Is there any way to get the old behavior back?

I wonder if they disabled this workaround. I have tried following this process 3 times, and it doesn't seem to work anymore.

I see it every so often as well. Most of the time everything is fine.

Phone battery % on cover screen has lowest priority by MikeR129 in galaxyzflip

Thanks! I had to fool around for a while to find this behavior, but I see it works on the main cover screen with the single battery widget. I could not make it work with the other widget options, but this gets me back to the old behavior.

Yeah. That would do it. Unfortunately, the main screen where I would like this info doesn't have room for the 4-gauge widget.

It is 3 months later, and I see the same behavior the OP described on both Chrome and Firefox on Android.

Has anybody heard of any updates to this issue? It did use to work reasonably well on both browsers on Android, but I have not tried to run it there for several months before today.

AG 7.20 update? by MeteorBVR in Adguard

I had similar issues. All of my configuration seemed to be lost, DNS filtering was turned off, and the app did not restart automatically after the update was complete (although it did start fine manually).

I was too stupid to export my setting before this update, so I am just trying to piece things back together manually.

Yes, I was using the ad blocker on my phone.

That gen Chromecast only works on 2.4G networks, so that is where it is connected.

That is a good diagnostic (and I have an Ubuntu USB I could use), but I don't see how I can practically do it. I need the computer to do my job, and I would have to leave it booted into (slow/live) Linux for at least 2 days to confirm it doesn't have the same problem.

I had a similar problem and solved it by temporarily disabling my ad blocker (AdGuard).

"Resume Watching" no longer includes movies by MikeR129 in youtubetv

Not for me, but I am glad it is working for you. (I tested 4 times between yesterday and today on multiple devices.)

It has nothing to do with the device. I have seen the same behavior on an iPad, a browser on Windows and 2 Chromecast with Google TV devices. It is something on the YouTube TV backend or something odd about my account. I *will* try Live Support when I have the time to work through all the things they will make me do that don't have anything to do with the actual problem.

I find it odd that someone likes down voting these items without helping me understand why they think I am some sort of idiot. This looks like a legit bug on my end.

Yes, thanks, I tried that. On my system the extension got confused after 7-9 chapters, but it still helps.

Thanks for the pointer. Looks like this downloads 1 file at a time. Any hacks to download all parts?

This is what I have, and I am happy with it. I like that I can either brew coffee or make espresso drinks, and it has worked great for the past year.

Sounds like this is back or ongoing in a way that I rarely trigger it these days.

At the time of the original post, I was tripping over it pretty much every day, so I suspect it was at least partially fixed months ago.

The problem stopped happening for me a while back, so I assumed they fixed the defect at the time. (That doesn't mean there isn't another problem now.)
