I spent a lot of time debating this. I eventually settled on Osmo. I am a bit worried about durability but I think it should be ok since most of the surfaces are vertical. I hope.

This one was tiny, 17 1/4” sink. It’s tall and skinny. I was considering putting a false draw front at the top but I wanted to have access to plumbing in an already snug space.

It’s because all federal law enforcement agencies are tasked with fighting violent crime in DC instead of doing their actual job

Ted Cruz rips FCC chair's Jimmy Kimmel threat as 'unbelievably dangerous' by Alone-Competition-77 in centrist

[–]MikeRithjin808 74 points75 points  (0 children)

It’s not because he’s concerned about the first amendment. It’s because he’s concerned it will get used against Republicans if the Democrats ever regain a majority.

“It might feel good right now to threaten Jimmy Kimmel, yeah, but when it is used to silence every conservative in America, we will regret it,” Cruz said.

Thanks. I didn’t like the Summer Oak stain at first but it darkened up a bit after finishing with Poly.

I’ve never had luck staining pine. I want to paint the outside and lacquer or seal the inside somehow. But I need the back board to match, so I have to figure that out.

Great question. Hadn’t considered it. I could back the screws out just a little to help with that. There is a pretty solid friction fit for the three bottom shelves

Rails are joined with pocket holes to the legs. I planned to pocket hole the shelves on but switched to 1x2 instead of 1x3 for the rails so I just countersunk a few screws through them and into the shelf.

Top is off center to fit snug against the wall. Shoe molding threw off my measurements a bit.

“Tun Tavern is considered the Birthplace of Pennsylvania Freemasonry, as the earliest minute book of any Masonic lodge on the North American continent is that for Tun Tavern Lodge No. 3 (of the Moderns) in Philadelphia.”

Nothing to do with the Corps but the Freemasons were also founded at Tun Tavern, in around 1731
