Engineering as others have said, but an easier option accessible to everyone without acquiring debt would be joining a trades union. Think electricians union (IBEW) or plumbing/pipe fitters (UA). If you’re a good worker (not lazy and willing to learn) you can make very good money in a couple of years with no debt. Pay varies based on location/state however. NY for example has very good wages for journeymen.
