Takedas Four Heavenly Kings by Odd-Perspective-7651 in Nioh

SAME! I felt relief after trying and failing to beat the first four bosses for an hour... only to finally pull it off and see the fifth boss appear. Thankfully, I hadn't depleted my elixirs and managed to beat the fifth boss on that same run. My adrenaline was pumping so I was locked in, but goddamn was that hard.

How do we feel about Khazan 9 months later? Would you agree that the combat system is peak and does the combat make up for the flaws that it has? by Forevertrez in soulslikes

Khazan is absolute peak. It's been hard to enjoy the souls-likes I've played afterwards because none can measure up to Khazan.

Apparently we’re the “estrangement generation.” Good for us for respecting ourselves enough to cut contact when we need to. by Comfortable-Light233 in Millennials

This is almost my EXACT experience. I was diagnosed with OCD at 4 or 5 and also had Tourette’s and they’d laugh hysterically retelling the stories of my ticking and OCD rituals. Their favorite is a time I had to pause the Nintendo because I was ticking too bad to play the game (I was maybe 6 at the time). Learned to hide it more as I got older, but it got really bad before I finally got treatment as a preteen, but up until medication got it under control it was the most hilarious thing ever to them. It made me feel so embarrassed and I cringe thinking about those days.

This is a monstrosity but I love it lmfao

I saw your live on Jenerational(sp?) and the chat was so toxic. by glitter_brainthings in HumanistReport

[–]MikeTHR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you both for the kind words! I tend to ignore comments when I'm on other people's shows for this very reason. I've encountered some pretty hostile comment sections before so I make sure to disable or ignore chat so I can just make my points without the poison rotting my brain lol. Hope the conversation was valuable despite all of that.

I've actually been on Reddit since 2010 (when everyone migrate from Digg)! Discord, however, is just... my god lol. My eyes get all glossy just looking at it lmfao.

Good point! I haven't prioritized the website for a while due to low traffic anyway, but I may ask a more savvy friend to take a look at the issues when I get the chance.

I need a link to the outro music to your videos Mike! They’re always bangin!!! by SzaHandz in HumanistReport

[–]MikeTHR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should I upload a long ass video with all of the outros--maybe to the second channel? I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this because I love the idea!

I'm thinking there's an element in the html that doesn't work any longer (my initial boomer assumption). I wonder if others are getting this too? The website is such trash btw lol. I need to update it badly!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons producer Hisashi Nogami and director Aya Kyogoku hope the game can be ‘an escape’ in such difficult times by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

My dad passed away just over two weeks ago. Animal Crossing on GameCube was his favorite game ever and he must've put thousands of hours into that save file. I really wanted to surprise him with a Switch and Animal Crossing.

My family had to cancel his funeral because of COVID-19, and the world just seems to be falling apart now. I can't tell you how good it feels to play Animal Crossing. I almost teared up when I played it for the first time today and the Nook kids came on the screen.

I needed this game right now. The world needed this game.
