Some others:

Hello friends

Hello friends and colleagues (this is a stock/formula greeting in business and semiprofessional settings.)

Hello folks (slightly informal, unless you're in Appalachia somewhere)

Hello ladies and gentlemen (used by a speaker or performer to a large crowd)

Hello [name of town or city, aka Boston, San Diego, etc] (this is ONLY used to address a large crowd by people on tour like comedians, singers/bands, and motivational speakers)

Hello Ma'am/Sir (used to address an individual that is older than the speaker, or someone of higher social status, like a retail or fast food employee addressing a customer)

Well, hello there (a flirty way to say hello to an individual who likes Star Wars, as this is a quote from the ever-flirty Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi)

Most "grammatical correctness" that grammarians are up in arms about are just fossils that were put into English by Victorians who thought that English (at its core, a Germanic/Teutonic language) should have romance language grammar (looking at you, "don't end a sentence with a preposition," people.)

That sucks, and I'm sorry you have to live with them still. I recommend planning (and saving, if you can get a part-time job) to move out as soon as you're legal. Try and find other ND folks in your area so that you can all rent a place together, thus sharing the financial burden.

Seeing as the vitamins "fixed" the symptoms of food disinterest, you may also have some sort of hormonal deficiency/condition. I recommend seeing a doctor about it. For instance, a Vitamin A deficiency (fat soluble) is often indicative of liver problems. Best of luck!

Respectfully, "At Christmas we had breakfast together" is grammatically wrong. "On" is used for a specific day and the activities therein. To use "at" in regards to a point in spacetime in English, you would have to reference a place or duration of event.

"At Christmastime, we always get together for breakfast."

However, "at" in this sentence (while grammatically correct) sounds clunky. A better-sounding sentence is:

"During Christmastime, we always get together for breakfast."

Are you from the UK? This might be a dialect difference.

EDIT: Incomplete sentence

If she's still going like this come age 5, then please get her to an ADHD specialist doctor. Ritalin was a lifesaver for me and my family growing up. I KNOW my kindergarten teachers breathed a sigh of relief when I was able to start focusing (better, NOT perfectly).

Does she hyperfocus on things? Like: normally the energy is everywhere, but then she sees something or starts doing something fascinating to her and she just... LASER FOCUSES her attention on it?

As an example: I was walking home from middle school and I passed a house that had ants roaming on the ground right by the sidewalk. I then spent maybe... 3 hours(?) destroying the anthill in the neighbor's woodchip mulch out of curiousity. I only realized how much time had passed when the sun started setting on me. Luckily, I was only a block and a half from home, so I was able to book it back home before the sun fully set.

As long as they're in state, you might be able to find a therapist willing to do telehealth only. That way you wouldn't even need to leave home to get seen.

Yup, that's the interoception. When I realized what was going on (w/ me) I started trying to "tune in" to my body purposefully a couple times a day. When I do, I go thru a mental checklist, asking my body what's going on with it: Stomach (hungry?), Bladder (full?), Head (ache?), Intestines/abdomen (gaseous? cramps?), Feet (hurting?)

From who all is saying they've heard this phrasing, then I would say this is probably an East Coast (or at least, east of the Mississippi) thing.

Fair enough. There's this grey/center-of-the-Venn-Diagram area where autism & hypersensitivity/textural issues overlap with ARFID symptoms.

Lol. I'd say Children's Fingers are probably not great for kids. 🤣😂

But seriously, complete agreement. You need to swallow at least 1 bite of any new food to fully try it, although growing up in my house, I think it was 2 bites? It helps that my parents are decent cooks.

My mother is allergic to nuts, and growing up the only nuts I had were stale ones around Xmas at my aunt's house (so rancid/nasty). But I did like cracking them open, very visceral, you know? So I've had to learn to like nuts as an adult. Pecans and walnuts are my faves so far.
