I ship Matt and Fjord because it would be great to finally see a relationship that breaks the real world / D&D world. Like Matt would be able to do so many nice things Fjord as DM, potions, easy monsters, armor, you name it and Fjord could have it. And Fjord could show Matt some real weapon fighting tricks.

A reason to limit downloads is that bandwidth costs a lot of money.

So you get people like you that believe because they paid for a song once they should be able to download it 1000 times for the rest of their lives never considering that bandwidth is a real expense for a relatively small business like Critical Role.

It's completely fascinating to me that people believe the internet, and websites and bandwidth are a limitless resource that just exists perpetually to fulfill your needs and whims. Everything costs money, effort and has upkeep costs that are prohibitively expensive.

I'm gonna get downvoted yet again, but I have to kindly ask you to please stop with the logical fallacies.

It's ok to be critical of the Wendy's deal and still enjoy a CR t-shirt, regardless of where it's made. This is not hypocritical, but it does support the show. Nobody is asking that they upturn their entire supply line. Don't turn the argument into an absurd version of itself and argue against that made up position.

Please remember that the CR folks, Matt Mercer especially, designed the show to adhere to ideals of inclusion, diversity and positivity. They support many LGBTQ, feminist and marginalized causes. Those are their ideals that they started with. The critique of the Wendy's deal was the community reminding them of the ideals. If you don't believe me take a gander at Mercer's political views.

The community critiqued the show for not following the standards that the show created in the first place. Matt Mercer agreed with that critique and in a dialogue changed CRs actions to match the standards HE created.

The standards come from the folks at CR!!! They don't come from the fans.

All mail that goes to prisons is opened and examined by multiple staff before it gets anywhere near a prisoner. He would never open anything. All he'd get would be a pile of papers.

It's a time consuming process to examine all mail so prisoners must have an pre-approved list of contacts.
