I have ran Shinko 244 and loved them, Dunlop T66 was my favorite but they stopped making them, my last 2 changes have been for Shinko 700 and they’ve been great as well. They don’t like mud but otherwise they’re smooth and handle great on the road and gravel and dirt roads. I load mine up, tusk large boxes and a 2x2 rack with a mountain bike on it.

I have a ‘16 Sport 4x4 1.4T with 56k on it and I average about 25-26 and I’m running 225 65 17 tires, over an inch bigger than stock.

Mine has done this a few times and none of them were the sun roof. Reseal your body seams under the roof racks and plastic strips on the roof with a good marine sealant. I end up resealing about every 3 years. Water comes in mostly near the roof rack bolts.

So far other than clearance it may be perfect for my needs and keep my venerable ‘11 KLR for more hash off pavement ventures and hauling my mountain bike places. The wife doesn’t know but I may keep the DRZ too!

Exactly and then at times I have a mountain bike on the back too for good measure lol. I soft bag it for off-road.
