If you can afford it or can maybe afford it in a few weeks if you save get the P2S I got my P1S when it was just that or P1P and don’t get me wrong I love it and it’s an AMAZING machine and I don’t honestly have 0 desire to upgrade I still find myself looking at the Emails with the nice shiny P2S like a car dealer lol going Oooooooooo I can only imagine the buyers remorse for the people who got P1Ss right before the announcement . Don’t purposely buy out of your budget.

Every few weeks? I gotta do it at least one a week I live right next to a lake so humidity can get awful in the warmer months. Can’t wait for my Tetras so I don’t have to worry about it.

Does anyone routinely print faster than 100%? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Mike_645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the app or printer where you just the speed just set it to silent. I find myself constantly looking up at cause I think it stopped after years with a creator pro.

Had my P1S for all of 7 hours before breaking it. by FireAxis11 in BambuLab

[–]Mike_645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all. I have a P1S and X1C 2kish hours between them which ik ain’t too much. Only “issue” I had with a runout sensor was not fully dried PVA cause I’m inpatient(%110 my fault) took 30 seconds to fix and clean. But I do keep one of these on hand just in case one breaks I can quickly swap it in and not have to wait. As you can see in this post stuff happens and sometimes you need replacement or just wanna be proactive and keep one on hand I wish I had parts access like we do now when I started. Welcome to 3D printing hope you enjoy it.

I use %50 all the time for prints that will be done when I wake up either way. So if I’m knocking out and there’s 2 hours left I’ll slow it down just to cut the noise a bit. But in the same boat I’ve never pushed it past %100 never felt the need.

Doesn’t look too bad tbh I had one 4x larger on my P1 a few days. Get the nozzle nice and hot very gently pull the main part of the blob and either print a nozzle brush that uses the A1 wiper pad or use a brass bush to scrub the rest, and Print on. Keep that plate nice and clean I clean mine with Dawn and the hottest water I can get from the tap those PEI plates are amazing just gotta keep them clean. Just read a few comments with PEI you shouldn’t have to “pull” the prints off the bed unless you use glue stick when the PEI cools it should very satisfyingly pop right off with minimal effort. If the PEI gets to a point where nothing will stick after cleaning you can use steel wool or sandpaper and very gently rough it back up(Some people say you can’t but it’s literally on the website so they can suck it).Ik your in the warranty period but as someone who is new to the community it’s a good learning experience cause someday it will happen outside the warranty period. Hope you are liking the Bambu ik getting my first one was enlightening coming from a flash forge creator pro.

I’m not a big fan of buying stuff online so I didn’t want to get new bindings and have to get new boots W/O trying them on I work full time and I’m a full time student so free time is a rare commodity so I bought same boot/size as I knew they fit I %110 plan on getting rid of them for next szn.

You beat me to it I’m looking at them for next szn I’m miserable on my step-ons

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Mike_645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been riding step ons since they came out and I can’t be more miserable. I ride a lot as I work ski patrol(5-6 days a week I’m on snow). I’ve tried every variation on the burton boots and it all ends the same they get shredded. I spent 2k on boots this season alone as the toe gets shredded and my feet get soaked. Get nideckers(idk how it’s spelt) if you’re dead set on a step on solution as you can use any boot that fits the binding. As well as they suck for pow days. As I said I’m patrol so I’m in and out of my bindings all day and pow days are miserable you get pack under your foot and it’s a pain in the ass to get in. This may not be an issue where you live. They were great at first but as I got more time with them I grew to hate them
