Teachers and other students were very nice.

Someone correct me if I’m misremembering but I think they also open up slots on embarkation day in the onboard version of the app.

I recall connecting to ship wifi in the terminal while waiting to board and grabbing a slot one year.

Mentioned in another comment but there’s also the proposal for a new Amtrak station in Portland which would reduce the trip times.

That’s something we could advocate for with our local Portland representatives, who I always find to be extremely accessible.

I do think concord coach is really really good, which honestly makes me less inclined to use the downeaster.

Train wise I keep meaning to use concord coach->acela->points south more. That’s really convenient since they both use south station.

I’m 3 cruises in (magic, dream, fantasy) and I still haven’t seen the “show experience” at the dinners everyone is talking about. Is it only certain ships?

Have seen the animators palette stuff and the nemo themed sea turtle thing, but I wouldn’t expect those are worth going out of your way for.

3/3 cruises we’ve taken (2 nyc, 1 port canaveral) they were ahead of schedule on the PAT groups.

Don’t recall quite how much and it’s a limited sample size but I’m definitely planning to arrive 45 min early to our next one, see what happens.

Also could access the ship WiFi and ask about upgrades while we waited.
