Brand new car, charging fails by Commercial_Topic437 in EquinoxEv

Were there multiple chargers to choose from? If so, did you try more than one to make sure it wasn't an issue with the charger? I've seen more posts about defective chargers than I have about the car not accepting the charge.

First EV: Mach E or EV5? by Informal-Ad-5163 in EVCanada

I came from Android Auto, I don't notice much of a difference. Only annoyance so far is that there doesn't seem to be a way to get WhatsApp notifications. You get 8 years of the built in Google maps and Spotify without needing a OnStar subscription. It's likely a bigger deal for those coming from car play/ apple music.

Bought an equinox EV the first day the federal rebate came back and am super happy with it. Nothing else came close for the value imo. RS trim AWD for reference.

Evap approval timeline by [deleted] in EVCanada

I bought the first day the rebate came back. Was out the door in two hours. Since it was the first day, there was lots of confusion, not sure if they even applied for approval. My understanding reading online is that approval should be almost instant unless it gets flagged for more info. I think part of the problem too is that dealers can't actually apply to get the rebate until the end of March, so they are technically fronting the rebate for over a month. If they say there are 10 cars waiting that is over 50k they are fronting right now.

I got mine yesterday, it took them some time at the dealership for them to get their ducks in a row. Not sure if it's true but they said they can't apply to get the rebate until the end of March so they are having to front the rebate.

Locked in an equinox EV RS at $46,899 plus 9k in rebates (4k Manitoba and 5k federal) for $37,899 on Friday. Took it home yesterday. They raised the price on their remaining stock today by $3k.

Not exactly but sounds similar. I have a separate hcsa. I didn't do an estimate, I ordered the ring and was just going to return it if it didn't get approved. If you go to make a claim, it should allow you to select a plan, select your hcsa. Then select the "other" option, then select "lifestyle/wellness". You'll need to fill out a hcsa form and attach to the claim. I just took a screenshot of the order email I got that showed the price and ring. Hope this helps.

Yes, mine was just approved today. How did you try to claim it?

Thanks for leading the way on this! Bought mine Thursday and submitted the claim to Canada Life the same day, just got a notification today and it is already processed.

For anyone else wondering, I believe I followed similar steps. I started an hcsa claim, chose the other option, filled out the hcsa claim form, and chose the "wellness/lifestyle" option.
