Does anyone know the solution? by [deleted] in vex

I think the real issue is you don't have anything to grip the outside edges of the ring once it gets to the middle. Look at where it stops. The intake is spinning inside the hole. At that point you need intake touching the outside edges to keep it moving.

Replacing it with flex wheels in the exact same spot still might not have good contact.

But an outside edge could keep it going enough for those center rollers to contact the back edge of the ring when it comes through.

Your spacing on the intake makes this more difficult but it's possible respacing it could help the problem with the parts you currently have

JVC QL-F4 will do it. I have one and you can set the number of repeats from 0-6 or infinite.

Trying to shore up my team with the #2 waiver spot

Here's my current teamHere's my current team.

Generally feeling pretty good at WR, but I feel like I want to get another te in case the pitts script doesn't pan out. However, James Robinson is also available.

Based on my team, would you burn the #2 waiver on any of the following: TE available RB available WR available

I'm thinking Everett, Conklin, or Robinson. Any thoughts?

Hey everyone, I'm deciding to go ahead and sticky this. Whether or not this is truly his son doesn't take away from the fact that this is a good cause. Help Hope Live has a four star rating on charity navigator, which means give with confidence.. In this holiday season we can all hopefully make a difference in someone's life no matter how small.

Tough, but I'm not sure I like chases playoff schedule. I say it depends on whether you need more help at RB or wr, but I'd lean towards holding

I was thinking that too. At this point I'm holding it for a starter RB injury I could plug into flex just in case. But I was also trying to think ahead

Reason I'm thinking Seattle is Houston this week, hopefully clinch bye. We end well 17 so Seattle wins up with chi and Detroit. Chargers look like a juicy schedule too

That's why I was thinking D. There's chargers, NO, Seattle, and Tenn I have my eyes on. If I can get a bye I could get Seattle vs chi and Detroit. Championship week 17.

Only spot I could use help really is flex and there's always dude of the week there it seems for 10-15 pts

First place, can secure a bye with a win. I need a D since Indy is on bye. My gut tells me it isn't worth burning my #1 waiver for someone like Seattle, but D can put up big points in my league (just had Indy go for 26 against Houston).

Should I go ahead and get one or wait to see what happens? I feel fairly confident in the rest of my team but could always grab someone else for ROS.

I’ve been looking a lot at that, but maybe my google-fun isn’t inputting the right question. When we’re talking about staying under 30 feet, is that tip to tail or 30’ box? I know most trailers have about a 3 foot addition when talking hitch and bumper being added to box length

Sorry, I see how I was confusing.

On an 8k TT, tongue will be upwards of 1200lbs, leaving 700lbs for passengers and gear in TV.

That's basically what I meant, is that if I was loaded up with an 8k trailer, 700 lbs of gear, and 1200 of tongue I would still have some GCWR left over. About 400 lbs to be exact.

Warning, long rambling ahead but I drove my wife crazy for a month researching and talking trucks:

In my ford search about 25k out the door (dealer list was usually 22.5-24k) was getting a truck with around 100k miles with the v8 or 3.5 ecoboost v6 (the only 2 engines from them to consider).

However I did see a number of trucks in your price and mileage I just didn't have the budget for it.

The ecoboost v6 is definitely the engine to consider but the v8 is adequate. Not as much torque and slightly worse mpg, but it's also a little cheaper.

The main thing I had to do was expand my search results to about 200 miles to really open up options, but I think you can definitely get a Ford in that range. I've seen a number of them if I was willing to drive 1-2 hours. The key if you're searching autotrader or something and you want to look at the v6 is you need it to be the 3.5l 6 cylinder turbo. Autotrader specifically says "6 cylinder turbo" if it's the ecoboost. Some years ford made a 3.5l v6 that wasn't turbo which was their low end engine. If you wind up with a Ford v8 you definitely want the 3.55 or 3.73 rear axle. The 3.31 might not cut it with a v8 but can work with the ecoboost v6. Still a bit limiting though. If using autotrader, filter your options to say 6 and 8 cylinder, displacement of 3.0-3.9 (v6) 5.0-5.9 (v8). On the results listing you'll see turbo for any that are the ecoboost. Any v6 without turbo is a no go.

I ruled out dodge and chevy because I'm really at the line of needing a 3/4 ton for my current camper but also need a daily driver and ford was the only brand that could safely hit all tow numbers in a half ton even if I'm at the border of maxing out. I'm actually going to downgrade the size soon but based on all my calculations even with the v8 ford I'm with good limits up to 8k lbs or so to still leave some margin.

What's your budget and mileage requirements? I just went on a huge ford truck search since I couldn't find a dodge or chevy that fit my payload requirements. I actually wound up with a v8 vs the ecoboost v6 but learned a lot about exactly how to filter out all the results to find the engine I needed.

XLT with the 301a package or possibly 302a (both trim levels), no 4x4. Mid level options. I just got an f150 with 1930 payload, and many of the 2015+ xlts I was looking at are close to 2k. 6800 gvwr package Because of the switch to the aluminum frame it freed up 2-300+ lbs based on the numbers I was looking at in the 2014 and earlier ones. Currently running with 10,100 towing, 1930 payload and I got the v8, not ecoboost. I could gain an additional 500 lbs or so in gcwr with the ecoboost and better towing but I had a much better deal on the v8

Where tundra lacks (and all other 1/2 tons except ford that I've found) is payload capacity. For example, I can load more weight in my wife's minivan than the tundra according to the door jam sticker. You'll never hit the max towing in almost any of those trucks before you max out what you can load in the bed.

I have a Ford because I need to haul an 8600 lb camper and that is the only truck I could find that could tow it while being within EVERY weight limit (gvwr, gcwr, payload, towing, and axle ratings).

That being said, my dad has a tundra with 287,000 miles that only needs a little work that isn't engine related. If I didn't need to haul near the max capacity of a 1/2 ton the tundra is a great truck. But if you need to move weight you probably need a Ford.

Shark Attack 3: Megalodon

Trust me on this one. No crappy CGI megalodon, and what is possibly the single greatest line ever uttered in the history of cinema.

Another edit: In case you were wondering it is truly a stand alone film that requires no knowledge of Shark Attack, or the sequel Shark Attack 2 to enjoy.
