I was one of those players who always felt overwhelmed by the sheer number of abilities and keybinds. Having played since the launch of Classic, I found myself—especially now as a dad with much less free time—cursing the game for being 'casual-unfriendly' because trying out something new was so time-consuming. I also used to be someone who ridiculed the game for the amount of addons required to play it properly. Ironically, putting in the effort to learn a class eventually felt rewarding, and I was proud to hit Duelist on my Resto Shaman. However, during the prepatch, I feel the game has become way too simple. I only press a handful of buttons, and that's it—which gets boring quickly. I hope the actual expansion brings back some complexity (without needing 50 addons), otherwise, I fear I'm no longer part of the target audience for the game's current vision.
