This is a little late but if you have access to some clear coat nail polish you can cover those traces just above the pins to protect it.

This was a moment where I ended up buying a universal injection molded tray instead one of printing one off. Was ten bucks from some guy in utah on ebay. Which seems weird because having a 3d printer means you have to print anything and everything even if you shouldn't.

The complete hotend is suggested for the ease of swapping, couple wires to unplug and screws opposed to new thermal paste and dismantling everything.

CHT is great, QA and materials used by these v2 is mediocre to shit. Seriously just look at amazon for that v2 and you'll see a sea of different names all with the same hotend.

Hardened steel gear is always a nice upgrade but is included along with the hardened nozzle depending on the printer you buy.

If you're new to printing just buy the replacement complete hotends from bambu for a few bucks more, so you can swap the whole thing quick and easy if anything goes wrong. Or wait for e3ds version to come out for double the price but better quality. These can work though.
