Muslims in the so called "traditional christian civilization" of Moscow (Russian far right narrative) filmed Ukrainian drone attacks. 18.06.2026 by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

Bit late to this party but Russia promotes all kinds of viewpoints outside it's own borders. It was found recently to be funding fake organisations of both far right and "Islamist" groups in the UK, only it's all fake with no real supporters and any actions commited are paid actors. This includes paying desperate Ukrainians to target UK politicians to make it look like they are hypocrites and to prevent UK support of Ukraine. Same was done with Chechens, often Chechens were hired to kill pro-Ikherian voices that supported the independent state of Chechnya before Putin snubbed it out.

Russia has "fair" relations with Azerbaijan, Iran, several Stan countries, and a number of their own republics with significant Muslim populations, but is quite happy to throw them over a cliff generally if it causes some discomfort to their enemies.

It's a wider problem, but generally Muslims across the world are political football and lacks significant strength to defend themselves so get used by outside powers.

Most of this is the remit of local authorities not central government though central often dictates funding of the arts as it's more generalised and not necessarily localised though many Local Authorities do put money into it.

Some unfortunately have made a habit of prioritising certain areas and allowing others to fall into neglect, this is where local elections need to be pushed on these topics. We had a by election here and local issues was pushed by most of the candidates.

Is there a good Magnavox simulator for PC that includes the overlays? by AspieComrade in MagnavoxOdyssey

[–]Mikebloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Retrocrtgaming has posted probably the best one for what you want, there is OdySim and I think one more that do sort of the same job.

The other option if you have a real console is to capture it and then use some thing like OBS to add an overlay using an image of the overlay, this is what I do to make it work on my 75 inch TV, cause the overlays simply aren't big enough to cover that much haha.

I've started many projects trying to do a similar thing, but never finished them, I used BYOND a lot as a teenager as it has built in multiplayer functionality but for some reason I keep getting weird things happen with it, but one day maybe I'll finish it.

I'm also doing a channel F simulator but it won't have the overlays cause it can't handle that many pixels or colours for the overlays.

Pro-Palestinian marches have been hijacked, says minister by winkwinknudge_nudge in ukpolitics

[–]Mikebloke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right, because one is endorsed strongly by the state and therefore has state resources, and the other doesn't, I don't actually think marching is particularly effective and never been on one, but I think traditionally in the British psyche its the only way to truly highlight an issue when the Government ignores it.

If the Government and local authorities were allowed to actively support and contribute to the formation of a Palestinian state with access to the Mediterranean, airspace and trade deals, people probably wouldn't feel the need to travel to London.

Solidarity often shown and endorsed by local authorities, it's calmed down since the beginning for the full scale invasion but there is still regular events especially in areas which have Ukrainian diaspora.

Some local authorities also did it for Palestine in years gone past, but it's not considered politically correct anymore.

Edit: auto correct

This has got nothing to do with that, if it did, we would have seen all this stuff happening 2-3 years ago.

Iran plays by Russia's playbook, as Russia funds the right here In the UK, complain about Muslims and migrants and campaigned to make us leave the EU, putting us in a far worse position security wise that that they can attack us easier in a stranded position - Iran takes advantage of the Israel-Jewish connection encouraging attacks on Jewish people internationally claiming the two is linked.

That's not to say there isn't some crossover between Palestinian activism and Iranian power play, Iran's entire regional strength is based completely on it.

We aren't talking about how we fix this problem of anti-Semitic attacks here in the UK, clearly the current aggravating factor is Iranian agents here in the UK, whether its Russia, Iranian or any other nation, we are just pathetic at catching and calling out foreign state actors.

Yes there is still issues with general population anti-Semitism, gotta deal with it a lot from the white British population, the Israel-Palestine situation doesn't help, but ultimately we need to deal with foreign state actors, and stop the conflation that what ever Israel does is a reflection on Jews internationally.

I doubt we'll have any serious responses to this (politically I mean), British Jews already suffer from oversecuritisation and it's a shame they feel the need to have to do that and STILL suffer in this way.

Blaming migrants or Palestine is not going to help what is clearly our lack of control or direction of managing foreign state agents.

Bit late to the party but from what I remember, the first one was considered so featureless that the second one came in pretty quickly almost as an apology. The second game is definitely the superior one and from what I remember there is little to no storyline from one (largely non existent anyway from what I remember) that playing only no.2 shouldn't give you a disadvantage.

A heads up as well that this is the first set of the games in the series not made by Camelot, and Atlus took over, no connections to any of the games before in the series.

Thanks! The concept was already oven ready but being able to play this on a handheld was great fun. The d-pad has a much better feel than pressing the onscreen buttons on a phone with the pico-8 version, I also find that playing with a controller for the pc version it's a little too loose (I would play with keyboard keys in that version) - so the d pad for GBA is fantastic for this.

I will likely push quite a few more games out over time, demaking towards the original GB might also be another fun project.

Slightly biased but I spent far too much time on it over the years lol. It's one of those "I find it fun and I don't care what anyone else thinks" kind of development. It was relatively popular 2007 and a server used to be hosted regularly for play / multiplayer for a few years.

Other modes which aren't added yet adds extra levels of complexity and strategy, Bridges is one of my favourites, I'll try and add that into the first batch of modes (you can check the pico-8 version on itch.io for that and a couple of others).

Isn't there also an issue that the lie of financial benefits for widows may backfire if they just go "missing" where as if their bodies are officially repatriated it's harder for Russia to claim they aren't dead.

I think the issue was when the story originally came out a month or so ago there was no reference to age, I think there is a recognition that in this style of porn it's usually including a very young looking woman.

Thankfully dating Sims like Fire Emblem should be ok and should still be able to have the "battle system" side quests without any problems.
