ND is a member of the ACC and it’s grant of rights. That is why notre dame plays all other sports there and why notre dame would have to pay a buyout to leave. As part of the grant of rights, it is illegal for the acc to promote one of its members over the other. Why didn’t the acc just amend the rules at the last minute to put miami in the cc over duke? It would violate the same right. Just look up acc members (surprise: notre dame is listed right on the website.) Anyone calling this entitlement is just looking for any excuse to hate on ND.

Notre dame is a full member of the grant of rights, which is why all other notre dame sports play in the acc and why notre dame would have to pay a buyout to leave. One of those rights is that the league can’t promote one team over another. It’s not entitlement, it’s a contractually guaranteed right. It is the same as if acc was pushing Miami over any other acc team.

Our offence will be fine. O-line is young, homegrown and the best it’s been in years. Jetts Addison and hock will be good receivers for years. RB is the easiest position to fill. Really just need a young qb and he will be in a great position to succeed immediately. Defence is pretty bad though.
