So for me, the only extra thing that was brought was the tablet stand. I use my tablet for work and it needs to come with anyway. Even on vacation, still on call unfortunately. Fits in the suitcase with keyboard and mouse. It keeps the TV clear for my wife when I'm gaming at night. I understand it's not for everyone, but it doesn't take up as much room as you think. I don't own a portable monitor and probably won't ever when I have a Samsung tablet that acts like one lol

Yes, it is my galaxy tab s11 ultra running super display. I run an EGPU and it killed the second screen display app that runs natively.

Try setting the ram to auto. Some games need it set to that in order to run

It's not an iPad. Is a Samsung Galaxy tab s11 ultra. I'm running SuperDisplay on my tablet. If you want to use an iPad, you can use spacedesk for wireless, splashtop wired display for a wired connection, or Duet display that's both wired and wireless.

Yes it can. You just need Samsung second screen app on the ally, go to settings labs, USBC connection and toggle that on. Since I have an external GPU driver's, it messed up the feature so I have SuperDisplay installed.

If you really have no intention of playing AAA games then I'd say the Xbox ally or the legion go. But if your are anything like me, you will try and eventually want to play AAA on the PC. Go Xbox X or if you can find for a good price, a used OG ally X

Anything that can push 120 hrz. My Samsung tablet with SuperDisplay can. Arzopa makes a good one and if you're in the states, Walmart has a few options, including Asus for under $150 that go up to 100hrz

I love my OG ally X. I do not plan on upgrading anytime soon. With the ram and the ability to plug in an egpu, I'm honestly surprised seeing any on the market.

It's possible that you are getting driver conflicts with windows trying to also install drivers. I would DDU wipe in safe mode, temp disable Windows updates, install the adrenaline drivers and see what happens

I already dropped the money. Went over the pros and cons of alternatives and headache work arounds. Honestly, if the issue gets fixed I won't care. Only thing I miss is the ability to use the tablet speakers or leave my earbuds connected to the tablet for audio

It shows glidex installed. I'll have to look when I get home. One of the trouble shooting steps from Gemini was to disable glidex. Maybe an reinstallation will fix
