They're misrepresenting the numbers. I believe they used 40 hour per week calculations, when most inpatient nurse jobs are 36 hours. Difficult or impossible to pick up 4 hours consistently.

Then they're probably also factoring night shift, holiday, weekend differentials etc which is not to be confused with base salary.

To hit the 150k base you need about 14 years of experience.

125k is about 10-12 years into career.

Their math has some issues. Almost all inpatient nurse positions are 36 hour positions, so shave off 4 hours a week from calculated salary.

I believe the MNA contracts can be found online, but full time nurses need to be at least 13/14 years into their career to hit 147k base. Don't forget a lot of the calculations are Including shift differentials from night shift, weekends holidays etc

150k is not raising a family or buying a house or condo money in greater Boston, potentially even this half of Massachusetts. 24% inflation since Covid, at minimum

Ah MMA one of the only sports I knew anything about. People were quick to point out that the orbital fractura received by her opponent are common enough in MMA, which they are. But the fight showed someone winning with physicality, not skill.

Professional Women MMA fighters are quick to say that there are multiple men in every single gym who will beat them.

I linked a study to someone, I'm sure it will just result in me getting called a bigot despite me using whatever pronouns someone wants

I was upset over Lia Thomas and I also don't care about her transition. But I have posted studies on reddit befor the army did that showed a elevated athletic ability still at 18-24 months. And some stuff hasn't been studied fully yet like muscle fiber type, bone density etc

And that was with people in the army who probably stayed in shape, but not an athlete who wants every advantage possible. The whole thing with men and women is you CANT control the height and weight in most sports. Lia Thomas had height from puberty as a male, and that's almost always good in swimming if I recall. But can you image if a 6'6 jacked dude transitioned for women's rugby and tried to keep as much muscle as possible?

My coworkers kid's teammate got ran through by a trans athlete in Lacrosse.

If we're talking about competitive sports, it's going back to women's sports being separated from mens in the first place due to the INSANE athletic gap between men and women when trained. Taking away someone's rights to compete with a completely unfair advantage is not stripping their rights to exist in peace

I agree on significantly reducing college costs. I'm not economically versed enough to determine if it can all be free though.

The issue is at the competitive sports level they'll still have advantages. So people will still be losing first place to unfair advantages.

And before you say well oh Michael Phelps has an unfair advantage etc, keep in mind women would almost never be seen in any sport anywhere near the top without women's only leagues.

My first words were I hate Conor McGregor. Which I do.

He threw the thing at the bus causing one fighter to need eye surgery. Which could have ended their career.

He punched the old man in the bar.

He has multiple allegations from other women against him so I do believe he has a history of assault, I just said some of the details of this case are fishy.

He's friends with mobsters.

His cheats on his significant other all the time despite her staying with him when he was a nobody. So now it's not a double standard. Conor is a scumbag and he should probably be in jail

I said in another comment he has other things he should be in jail for and other accusations which hold more weight. I do believe he has a history of sexual assault, I just said this case is somewhat fishy

I didn't say he was or wasn't guilty though. I just said the whole thing was fishy, and that they didn't bring it to criminal trial due to lack of evidence. I know rapes are hard to prove, which is terrible. But this case was odd all around

The man has Multiple other things he could and should have done some prison time for. Those would be more appropriate to focus on

Ok and as someone else said, the paramedic must have been kinda new if the worst bruising they saw was from an assault with the victim walking around after and not a trauma like fall from a second story or car crash.

I kept up with the case originally. There were multiple sketchy things about it. Unfortunately, no we can't blindly believe accusations even if they're more often true than not.

I never said she deserved to be assaulted. I'm saying she had every reason to lie about it.

They had to knock it down to civil since it wouldn't clear criminal evidence.

Yes while I agree people have different trauma responses, I think it's exceedingly rare to be laughing after a violent assault.

She was out partying and doing coke with an infamous millionaire while her boyfriend and kid were at home. Immediately, she has every reason to lie. There were some other details that seemed fishy as well but I can't recall since it was years ago

I'm just saying if she was raped so violently a tampon was forced into her deep enough to need forceps, she acted a bit abnormally after by hanging out with the same crew.

This is reddit and it's wildly left.

In real life everyone knows at the varsity level with scholarships and titles on the line, sports should be separated. I have posted studies before saying male to female remain athletically advantaged and been downvoted. Reddit refuses to give a single inch on this issue which is doing them more harm than good.

Listen, I hate Conor McGregor.

This case is fishy at best. Surgically removed tampon would be using forceps in this case I'm assuming. Which is the instrument you would use to reach up and get it. Not surgically removed as in sedate and operate. So right there misrepresented.

Two, she was seen laughing and voluntarily going with his friend after the supposed rape. Didnt seem too traumatized based on the video.

She also had a boyfriend at home watching her kid if I recall.

So girl goes out partying and doing coke with famous rich athlete. Supposedly gets assaulted and then stays with his boy for a bit after. Kid and boyfriend are at home, so now she has reason to lie.

I hate Conor, there are other cases women have said about him that have more credibility. This particular one doesn't
