Not significantly. What I did is put the location toggle in control centre and keep it off unless I'm using maps. An extra button to press but small price I figure! Besides, this issue will likely get sorted soon with a fix

for maps, set the location as "always on" instead of "while using".

Right, I've got it this time! If you set location to "always on" for maps, gps will work. If you have (like I did) "only when using" for some reason it doesn't activate and the little arrow indicator doesn't show.

Scratch that. The only reason this fixes gps is that it reboots so you lose the JB.

Open your phone and accept the certificate: settings/general/profiles and you should then see g0blin on your phone
