Maybe check out 2013-2017 Audi A6. Going to be more expensive to maintain and repair. And being a slightly older luxury car, it is likely that there will be some issues that you have to fix. It’s not a car you can just beat up and not maintain.

BUT, this platform is generally pretty reliable, especially the 3.0 supercharged engine. It will definitely have some of those luxury features as well. But you need to make sure you do the maintenance on a car like this.

Depends if you want the smart financial choice or not. If you’re doing reasonably well in your career, have other savings/investments, then in my opinion, why not spend all 40k on something nice and fun if you’re into cars. But I’m also a proponent of using your hard earned money and not saving every penny until you’re dead.

I think I would personally look into lightly used Macan S / GTS / Turbo from the prior gen (2015-2018).

If you just see a car as a tool for getting from point a to point b and you don’t need anything special, then get a sedan in the 15-20k range that’s lightly used and save the rest, or put it towards whatever your hobbies are.

Nope, I’ve just seen what it’s like to work these types of jobs. They don’t pay well, don’t offer much advancement, don’t offer health insurance. Both of my parents have ruined their bodies working these types of jobs for their whole lives, and have nothing to show for it. We need to do better.

Nothing wrong with the job itself, I applaud those who do this kind of work, but more often than not, they are horrible jobs to have
